Uniform Choice Wish To Dream 4 sided

We have been getting a lot of emails about Uniform Choice shirts recently, and I am more than happy to show you this one for sale by satchel001. I understand that not everyone likes later Uniform Choice, but you can’t deny the greatness of this shirt. This one usually pops up with purple ink instead of the green, and I’m not sure which one I like better. This is one that I don’t have, and you can be assured that I am going to be bidding on it.

Screaming For Oxyclean!

I wish I could wear a white U.C. hoody like this one being sold by satchel001, but I can not. I would put it on and it would immediately get dirty. That’s the way I roll. Maybe I’ll lean on a freshly painted wall. Perhaps I trip and fall walking to my car and get it covered in grass stains. Of course the lady at the drive thru would fail to put the lid on my Jumbo Iced Coffee. Not a pretty scene. In fact, I don’t even want any of the white Wishingwell hoodies in my collection, as they will just get ruined sitting there. I know my limitations. Anyway, this is an original U.C. Screaming For Change hoody. It’s not TOO yellow, and I am certain that a few good Oxyclean baths would take care of that little yellowing problem. A Jumbo Iced coffee stain wouldn’t fare so well.

There might not be an A Wish To Dream tee amongst the OG tee auctions from live_hard, but the pair of Uniform Choice tees that he does have up are still three and four sides of awesome. I don’t even think I’ve ever seen the first tee before, and to my complete lack of surprise, the price of it is already up there… it was like I blinked and BOOM fifty dollar range. Hopefully the abundance of well made boots of the 2nd tee that are always flying about will help keep the price of that one down a little longer so that you can still get your own high bid in…

I Can’t Wait To Own This.

Oh who am I kidding. There’s no way in hell this original 3 sided Uniform Choice tee stays as low as it has been through out it’s run. When it comes down to the wire, this one is gonna jump no matter what, which means it’s gonna be out of my price range fast. So I may as well eat my sour grapes and blow up some spots to get the taste out…

Seller moshxchuck has a solid history of selling bootlegs without mentioning the bootleg word. Yeah, it’s pretty weak. But this time, he’s outdone himself. The pictures in this Youth Of Today are stolen from a well respected shirt blog. Check out this post on xshirtsx and then look at the pics below. Yeap, stolen pics. And you know the shirt moshxchuck is selling is a boot. 100% positive.

YOT – Not A Crumby Euro Boot

At first, I was pretty amped on this tee. When it comes to bootlegs, this isn’t one you see very often. 4 sided is a pain in the ass to boot. And the lettering on the sleeve seems to be some long lost forgotten font. No one ever seems to get it right. But this one looks like it has an appropriate sleeve print font. I can’t be certain, but it seems close. And drewtilldeath1986 is quick to point out that it is “not a crumby euro boot.” He also mentions there is no phallic chunk of cotton missing — we see what you did there, dude!

But, I can still find fault with this tshirt. How or why, you may ask. Simple. Look at the print on the back. You know what’s wrong here? It’s too fucking perfect. This image was probably scanned from the lp at 300dpi and put on the shirt. That’s great for picture clarity. Not great for reproducing the shirt. Anyone who owns or has seen an original can tell you. The back print was super black and not very detailed. As if Pat Dubar (or someone) went to Kinko’s, photocopied the LP sleeve and used the resulting photocopy as the picture. Go ahead, look it up on any “shirt site.” You’ll see that I’m telling the truth.

Regardless, it’s a pretty cool shirt. The sleeve font is a little wacko (notice the lack of spacing between the P and the comma) but it’s close. And the back pic is detailed, but not like the original. You take the good, you take the bad …

Wishing Well Records Logo Tee=In 93’ or 94’, Pat Dubar had random boxes of WishingWell tee’s laying around and gave the merch to my friend Dave to sell on the Ignite tour for $10 a shirt if I remember correctly and to little old Igby to get rid of at Zeds records (Which Big Frank ran from Carry Nation). This shirt is from those box’s and the print on this shirt is still in amazing shape. This is a screen star shirt and very hard to find nowadays, the strange thing is there is not a logo printed on the sleeve, someone got to lazy to print it on there? Anyways, this is a true classic from one of OC hardcore’s finest Labels!! “

Real Or Fake, A Wish To Own.

I’m told hottdogg9000 is a regular commentator here on TTD, and as such he knows: if you’re selling a bootleg, say so straight out. Or as he puts it:

Let’s face it though: this is a good looking, and pretty damn accurate bootleg. The only flaw that Murphy or I can find is extra large space between the ellipses and the border:

Shhh, before Casali notices, check out this Uniform Choice Wishingwell Records tee. Casali has the market cornered on these tees, but if we tip toe around this one, he might not notice it. That gives you free reign to bid and win. Just keep your head down and bid. If you are lucky, he already owns this variation, and you won’t get into a stupid bidding war … 4 sided, original Wishingwell tee. You can’t go wrong there.

My friend bleedingpowers has this original Uniform Choice shirt Wishingwell shirt and some other gems for sale on ebay right now. The auction description is AMAZING. I love a shirt with history….even weird history.

“You’re bidding on an authentic Wishingwell Uniform Choice t-shirt from the mid 80′s, I copped this one in a trade with Anthony “Pops” Pappalardo of In My eyes fame. While I wore this shirt to many a show the story of how Anthony came into this garment is far more interesting than anything that happened in it’s tenure with me. Since Anthony is such a wordsmith and quite the hardcore journalist (his 3 sentence Twitter post on what the last Animal Collective album sounded like still angers my hipster/art friends) I asked him to recount the story himself.

I got this shirt via trade through Edward Goodlife, he was doing a crucial couch tour and stayed at 38 Calumet street before it became evil. I had a Tom Knox Police Beat shirt that he wanted and he returned to his homeland with my shirt and promised to send me a 4 sided Use Your Head shirt complete w/Drugs and Booze the way to lose on the sleeve.

As a trusting edgemin and allowed him to do so knowing that I may never see said shirt. Months past and the shirt hadn’t arrived, I was beginning to wonder if I only trusted Edward because he was straight edge and had an accent. He assured me that he had sent the shirt months ago and felt terrible about it. I believed him and assumed my shirt had been lost in the mail.

That fall I moved out of 38 Calumet street. The top 2 floors were occupied by 454 Big Block and Ten Yard Fight and the bottom floor was Big Wheel Rec HQ. In between was a puerto rican family that constantly asked us for money for damaging their things because we shook the walls playing heavy metal causing their religious articles to fall and break. We paid them a few times and never once thought that all the CDs, Records and care packages being sent to us were being stolen by them.

They had a son who was about 8 years old who was playing on the porch, normally there’s nothing remotely amusing about a latin boy playing on the porch but he was wearing a 4 sided UC shirt causing Dean Baltulonis to die of laughter, Clevo captured this moment on Polaroid film, I still have the picture.

Suddenly I had a purpose, I knew where my sought after shirt was, Edward had kept his word and I was going to reclaim this t-shirt. After a quick phone call I charged down to 38 to confront his father who had a puffy Pedro Martinez mullet. “No no…eeess no you shirrr that hee shirrr” he said before passing me onto his wife who spoke better English.

“If that’s not my shirt then how do I know what size it is, that he’s wearing it backwards and that it’s on a screen stars (maybe jerzees) t-shirt” I asked. She then pulled the most classic bad parent move, she grabbed him by the collar, discovered the tag showing it was on backwards and then beat the kid for stealing my shirt. Throwing your kid under the bus is always a good way to save face.

With that said, shirt is pretty thin due to it’s age, and has a few small pushpin sized holes in hardly conspicuous places, not at all detracting and still looks cool. The tag has long come off but rest assured this is the real deal (I’ve had and seen a few of these). Fits like a medium should and it’s so perfectly broken in your girlfriend will want to sleep in it (that’s okay though)”
