Early Vision Of Disorder shirt

There have been a fair share of Vision Of Disorder shirts for sale lately. This one appears to be from early on. I’m gonna let dancarcillosmoustache do the talking here.(I love saying that!)

“VISION OF DISORDER SHIRT COMIN STRAIGHT FOR YOUR FACE! This is one of VOD’s first, if not THE first shirt they ever made. Get it and tell all your friends you’re OG and were around back in the day. Size XL(of course it’s XL, this was printed in the mid 90s, we didnt wear stuff that fit back then), white shirt, though it’s over 15 years old, so “white” is a relative term – a bit of yellowing around the collar area, and fading on the print, and some of the ink on the logo on the front has actually turned green, but overall it’s in great shape, still very wearable and very cool.”

Vision Of Disorder shirt

Seller punkrevival has listed up this Imprint era Vision Of Disorder shirt. This is an odd looking shirt. It’s an odd color and it has an odd bug on it. I don’t know if this odd bug lives in this canyon of death, but I know I need to steer clear of that place. The seller describes this shirt as “FLAWLESS”. Apparently they didn’t see the giant odd bug on it. Weird.

Vision Of Disorder Long Island shirt

I’m not certain where in the timeline of VOD this shirt falls, and seller dogkecha does nothing to help me. I do believe that this is Derek Hess artwork, but I could be wrong. The only thing I know for certain is that this is for fans of Long Island. You know who you are.

VOD – Long Island

I was never the biggest Vision Of Disorder fan. From what I can tell, they had one dope song, and I can’t think of anything else. The merch seemed to fit the same bill. This one from alliedtrailers is the one to remember. Just look at it. Ice grey with green ink. Solid front print, great back print with a tight handstyle. Everything about it is a plus (minus that “quarter sized hole” of course). Guessing this one will go cheap. I’m fully expecting Nick Mango of LimitedPressing to scoop this one up.

Ringering In The New Year With TTD.

Now I love a good ringer tee, and I love a good pun, so even though we’re a week in to the New Year, I’m still taking the opportunity to show these two tees from wabuy226 and unholybloodlust. The Redemption 87 one in particular is a great looking shirt that most of the time you only see in regular tee form.

While I’m on the subject, it’d be negligent of me not to mention that as of tomorrow, the almighty Shop Shogun will have Breakdown “Causin’ Mad Trouble In 88″ ringer tees available. I ordered one. Did you?

I LOVE LIHC!**

** that’s a lie. I don’t really LOVE LIHC with that much vigor. I enjoy LIHC, and I dig LIHC, but I think the term LOVE would be a bit of a stretch. But I know plenty of you dudes live and breath these tunes. Or at least, live and breath in Long Island pride. I however, have only been to Long Island twice. Once for a Bane / RJ show, another time for a This Is Hell/ Bane gig. Both gigs were excellent, mind you. But if you live and breath LIHC, marcusboldt has the tee for you. Nothing says LIHC like a little Vision Of Disorder. I’m guessing these guys, at least per unit, are the measuring stick for all other LIHC acts. Step your game up, boys.

Does Long Island have a lot of canyons??

A Band Only Jim C Could Love … VOD … BIN

That Outspoken BIN didn’t last for very long. All you Labor Day people must have finished your bbqs and are just hanging around your computers waiting for BINs to pop up. I don’t blame you, I’m doing the same thing. After grilling up some pizzas, eating ice cream and washing dishes, I’m in the same boat. Just chilling. Which is probably how I came across this BIN from knowmusic. I initially stumbled onto the E-Town Concrete BIN, but these VOD tees are cooler. Two tshirts, two reunions, two years apart, two ten dollar bills for both. Dumb if you don’t.

I Saw VOD The Other Night.

This past Friday at the Gramercy Theatre, to be specific. And if he wasn’t in Virginia, it wouldn’t surprise me that xrebelheartsx had been there too, and immediately gone home and put this shirt up in sadness…

Not that it was a surprise, since it’s been the case since like 1998, but VOD in 2010 = rock concert. A very crowded rock concert to be sure, but a rock concert all the same. I’m not gonna say that people don’t stage dive to VOD or that they’re not into that happening anymore or anything, but in this particular instance the only stage diving was done by 20 beach balls that they (not even they, they’re road crew) threw out into the crowd before the lights went out and Party In The USA started blaring out over the PA. They DID open with Suffer and Element, which in theory is cool but it was just a total rock show vibe (dude tried for the scream version of a high note in Suffer for crying out loud) that it was actually just awkward. None of us were feeling it, so we left early and went to Shake Shack, which made the night a big win.

So yeah, long story short (too late), don’t expect to see the back of this shirt recreated any time soon.
