Seven (7) Generations was one of the Southern California bands that loved a good dose of 90s hardcore as well as a love for all things vegan. xvgunx is selling this 7 Gen hoodie that has Vegan Power screened on the hood. Check out his auctions for more vegan and straight edge merch.

Earth Crisis pt1
itshowmanytimes has a nice little gem up for sale for you. The first Earth Crisis shirt. According to TTD friend Guav this and the black longsleeve are the only two previctory designs ever made. Im not sure how many they made but it couldnt have been too many and there cant be too many that survived. Still a pretty good 7″. I think I have one but I dont remember anymore and all my records are in storage :(
Noose – An Awkward Look
Nooses. Tough look to pull off in public. I remember reading this story from acrucialdood somewhere. B9?
pretty offensive based solely on imagery. it was awkward in college getting on the campus bus wearing this not knowing one state over there was a pretty big news story involving a hangman’s noose and some racially-charged speech. NO WONDER THEY ALL LOOKED AT ME WITH DISDAIN! true story.
I can picture that. I never got down with this one. But hey, that’s me. For a $5.50 BIN, maybe that’s the look for you. For $5.50, you better cut the sleeves off.
And then there is the band Noose. I remember talking to Bucky at Sound And Fury 2011. He was telling me about how kids went APESHIT for this shirt. He said the more offensive looking they made their shirts, the faster they seemed to sell out. It seems to work. Not sure I can hang, but I sure was a fan of the band. Plus, vegan straight edge. You know I’m backing that. Grab this Noose shirt from smittywestoc. -20 scene points for him … Hang ‘Em If They’re High Tour 2011. Damn.
Rip- off, mall heat transfer, and dick print
I know the title of this trio of shirts from sounditoutrecordstc isn’t exactly accurate but it’s sounds better and will look cool when it pops up in your RSS reader.
First the rip off. I remember something about this shirt being limited or desirable. Personally I don’t get it. Ho hum to me. Whose got The info on this? Guav I’m looking at you

Next up is the heat transfer. It’s not an actual mall kiosk heat transfer but it sure looks like one. Guav I believe was kind enough to explain that it was the first 4 color process screens they printed so props to them on that! If this is the tour that I’m thinking of then I saw it at the tune inn stop of the tour and the gig itself was a rager! The height of big pants and beaded neck laces. They always put on a great show during this time

And finally is the dick print. Or maybe it’s like a gall bladder print. It’s hard to tell In the pics. I’ve never seen this shirt in person. Actually I don’t recall ever seeing it at all. If that dick print was a pocket print I would bidding all over this because this shirt is kind of amazing. That back graphic is perfect to me. Just a great shirt all around.

Ps. Destroy the Machines is still a pretty solid record! I fully back that lp and everything before it
Destroy The Machines
When I saw the sweatshirt xmauricioisraelx is selling, I immediately thought, “DIY.” It honestly looked like someone had sewn on a front patch and an arm patch. They just stick out so much. But the back is obviously fully screened. According to the seller, this is an Earth Crisis Destroy The Machines hooded sweatshirt from 1994. That would make it one old sweatshirt. Can we get some verification from Gauv or Ange on this one? Thanks,
Ps. Check out the Earth Crisis Tour 95 tshirt up too. Hot.

Noose Crewneck
What do people think of Noose? I’ve really only heard ABOUT Noose, never heard them. Minus these live videos I’m peeping on their blog. Something about “vegan straight edge” bands playing youth crew inspired hardcore has my blood pumping. I can get behind that, no doubt. Definitely looking forward to seing this band at Sound And Fury this summer. Have a look, get into it.
And what about this crewneck from xjimocx? Makes me think of the mid 90s, when paired with the “vegan straight edge” moniker. Feeling it! Supposedly limited to 25. Can anyone confirm?
Extinction – The Vegan Straight Edge
Chicago was a hotbed for Vegan Straight Edge bands back in the late 90s. I can’t tell you what it’s like now (I just don’t know), but back then, it was awash in the spirit. I can hang with that. But for some reason, I can’t tell all those bands apart. I’m not sure what it is. Maybe it was the constant band member rotations. Hell, I think at one point, a dread locked Pete Wentz played with Extinction (someone, please post pics, otherwise I’ll have to chalk it up to a terrible memory). Of course this band was on Catalyst Records … like there was any other option. Go ahead and grab this tshirt from heathens. You can only wear it with giant fat Xs though. Be warned.
Vegan Reich Hardline
This weekend is Worcester’s Veg Fest. I’ll be rolling through checking out the booths, hoping for some new free samples. Something I haven’t had before. We’ll see. Here’s what I’m guessing though. There won’t be one hardline table. That apparently went out in the 90s. Unless you are Neuva Etica, that is. But back in the day, one of the leaders of the vegan hardline movement was Vegan Reich. And when I say one of the forerunners, I mean, the actual forerunner. All you have to do is spin their EP Hardline (released on Hardline Records …) to see.
So put down your copy of Robert Cheeke’s Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness, and go grab this shirt from xonwardx. The start price is high, but free worldwide shipping (from Germany) seems to make up for that. You can obviously wear this one to the gym. And if you see Andy Hurley (he played drums on a follow on EP), give him daps. Anyone know what’s going on with Sean Muttaqi these days? Still vegan? Still hardline?
Syracuse BINs on the Cheap
moniskater has some cheap BINs up now. Get one for your favorite vegan warrior. If you are that vegan warrior, get one (or more) for yourself. They are so cheap you can probably afford a few. Is that Wegman’s still open outside of Syracuse? I bet Earth Crisis loves that spot.
Calling All Vegan Warriors
I’m sure Chip could give us the full breakdown of this Earth Crisis tour shirt. I can’t tell you the exact year, but I can tell you it’s mid 90s. How do I know this? Why, check the locations of some of those gigs. Pretty sure one of those listed in August is in Josh Grabelle’s basement. He was the guy who started Trustkill Records out of his dorm room in 1993. Not too shabby. And now he heads up Bullet Tooth Records. Again, not too shabby. But this shirt is for all you vegan warriors. Snag it from xdrugfreepridex, and wear it with pride.
ps. Go vegan.
