Ok, so I’m real late today. But a. it’s Valentine’s Day, so I had boyfriend duties to perform, and b. I went to the Rival Mob/Stick Together show in Long Island last night so didn’t get a chance to set up some posts. I WAS gonna throw up a quickie shirt celebrating both V-Day AND Metal Monday, but SOMEBODY buys up all the good Kid Rock shirts* as soon as they go up, so my plan failed. But since missing Metal Monday was creating an uproar, I grabbed a few minutes to throw something up. And thanks to beeslovehoney, I found a shirt that fit the double bill I was looking for. Not only that, but like almost all Valentine’s Day presents, it’s way too expensive….

*- no, not really metal, but cmon. “Get in the pit and try to love someone!” It fits.

Jazz June Boom The Motion

Three years ago, one month and one day, The Jazz June played a reunion show. It was strictly a benefit gig for their roadie Steve who was suffering from brain cancer. Lots of people showed up and donated. These shirts were made for that particular gig.

10 years ago TODAY exactly, The Jazz June played a gig in Worcester Mass. At the Space on 85 Harding St. Currently, it’s someone’s living room, but back then, it was decked out Prom style. That’s right, Feb 14, 1999 was the Punk Rock Prom. That’s how the show was booked.

That was Garrison. Sadly, I couldn’t find any Jazz June clips. I do recall the Jazz June causing quite a few head bobs that night. You can get a good feel of the night by checking out the sweet, sweet decorations and outfits.
