One thing I love about living in South Florida is that I can basically wear shorts year round and for the most part, I do. I mean, why not? Its in the high 50′s in December. Well these shorts that itsxdead are definitely a pair that I’d rock. I played with the First Step back in 2000 or 2001 in a small place in Virginia Beach…nicest guys. This was later era TFS and was just stellar. I didn’t even know they made these in crewnecks. I think some one sided tees were made. Wish I had been smart enough to get one from Aram back in the day. I am pretty sure that seller zwuerthner is my buddy Crucial John from the band GIVE. Here is a nice little selection of The First Step shirts for sale. Each auction has a quiz you can answer to get a discount on the item. My guess is that you would not know any of them unless you were there, and if you were there, you would probably have these shirts anyway. Quiz or no quiz, go stock up on your crucial TFS gear.

The First Step and Livewire Records. It seemed like a match made in heaven. Ed was in Hands Tied, The First Step loved Mouthpiece. Ed and Co put out great records, The First Step created great records. It was a good combo. Hell, the shirts even looked chill. Take this shirt from fordapunks. That’s just a solid shirt. A dash of Turning Point, and plenty of crucial. Just a solid look, despite being a navy blue shirt. White and red ink on navy is a crucial look though, I’ll give it that. It makes me think of long van rides sitting around with friends. Not worrying about the next gig, not stressing over previous shit, just living in the moment and having fun. I can dig that vibe.

We came down pretty hard on flamestillxburns the other day for butchering some amazing tees. Turning an XL tee into a 3/4 sleeve baby tee is … deplorable. But this auction makes up for that.
