TTD friend and poster sixfeetunderrecords is selling off a ton of stuff this week including this Floorpunch Tank Top. When I saw the little thumbnail on ebay I thought it was the tank graphic on a t-shirt but it was just Dave’s poor auction photos. For shame Dave. You can be rest assured that all the money from these auctions will either go to new SFU releases or diapers.

Camo Till I Die

I think we can all agree on this. Camo and Trapped Under Ice are fucking hot right now. Camo is somehow coming back as the new “hot pattern” of the season, but TUI has been blowing up for years. The Big Kiss Goodnight has added some fuel to that fire. If I were you, I’d go snag that TUI longsleeve Big Kiss Goodnight package over on Reaper. Sure, you could grab the short sleeve package if that’s how you roll, but longsleeves are where it’s at. Do it. Then grab this camo tanktop from badinplaid1223.

Or what about this rad jacket from zachxdetine? I don’t recall having seen this one before, and it’s awesome. Fleece lined? Fuck yes. The opening bid is … a little ridiculous, but based off what the regular windbreakers were seeing earlier this summer, maybe it’s appropriate. You decide.

A Greg Mongo 1 Of 1 Tanktop

I appreciate that smurphypurple calls this one like it is. No punches pulls, he tells you exactly what you are getting. Which is a one of one tanktop that Greg Mongo made one day while working at a screen shop. On the front, you have the smoking Mongoloids dude. And on the back, you get the RZL DZL LOC character. Interesting combo. Take it for what it’s worth, but don’t get too crazy over it.

Title Fight Sold Out!

Ok, I realize that the Acacia Strain isn’t hardcore or punk (not in my book, at least). But they have the association. And when bands make shirts like this, all I can do is scratch my head and say, “WTF?” Also, WTF was gblairkemp thinking when he bought this item? Hopefully, it was one of those we’re-playing-the-same-gig-have-a-free-tanktop shirt. Lets hope.

Tanks Again & The Gym

At the beginning of the year, my work cut the gym subsidy they had been providing for the last 7 years. It sucked. I went from getting free gym (or paid to go to the gym courtesy of a health care “healthy living” plan) to paying $49.95 a month. That sucked. They said they could do away with it because our complex has a free fitness center. Ok, it was free, and it wasn’t super trash. Think of it as one step up from Planet Fitness but with equipment from 20+ years ago. Most of you would shun it because the dumbbells only go up to 95 lbs, and there is not one curved barbell in the entire place. Mostly, older sales people from a different building use it to run on the ancient treadmills or super ancient stair masters. These people suck. Granted, there are two or three nice ladies, a couple of quiet, keep-to-themselves types, but it’s all overwashed by these 3-4 super douches. I think you know the type. It’s particularly worse in the gym. Imagine 4 dudes trying to one up each other in the gym, but each dude is super fuckin weak. Yeah. That means I have to wait while four dudes attempt to out pull up each other. Usually the young guy who can squeak out 6 pull ups wins. It’s just painful. And the banter is just awful.

Dude #1: “I was in Barbados last week and I did the best calf exercise ever. My calves still hurt. Let me show you.”

Dude #2: “I don’t need your exercises, my calves are excellent.”

Dude #1 calves look like deflated basketballs. Dude #2 calves look like rotton pumpkins. It’s not good.

So I’ve decided, I need to get these guys to clear back from me some. They don’t listen to words, as evidenced by the above exchange. So I’ve turned to wearing tanktops to the gym. I’m not saying I’m shredded. Because obviously, I’m not. But I do have chest tattoos, and that’s enough of a taboo for these old guys to think I’m “crazy.” Lately, they’ve been working like a charm. So if you’ve got size large tanks, let me know. I think I need some more. Shout outs to Sam Triple B and the Triple B Tanktop.

Little Tanks

Here’s another one for my smaller friends. These tanks all come from littleugur. Somehow, smaller dudes and girls can pull off a tank while bigger dudes look like goons. Seriously, have you ever seen Morgado in a tanktop? Ridiculous. Just ridiculous. And to top it off, these tanktops are on that limited tip. They all seemed to have been special releases for a Sound And Fury (pretty sure that’s where the I Rise tanktop came from. Positive that’s where the Trash Talk tank came from). Get into it. And grab your Sound And Fury 2011 tickets now. Don’t sleep.
