I know someone is going to have a boner for this shirt. I actually used to have this shirt. i bought it at studio 158 in Willimantic, CT. I think probably at an Earth Crisis gig. I didnt really get what the shirt meant then and I still dont now. But at the time it said straight edge on it and it had a sub machine gun so I was sold. Im guessing Guav had a hand in this one. Can you give a run down on the making of this shirt? I eventually traded mine a year or two later for a Madball shirt that I still have to this day. veganpowerufi says this shirt came out in 1998 but there is no way 1998 me would buy it. I think 94/95 me might have though.

Cabal pt2
In case the Belly Rocker design was not your steeze we got you covered. This just has a front print. I dont know about you but this logo just screams 90s at me. Im not saying that as a diss or anything it just gives off that vibe to me. Like I might see this logo in a zine featuring recipes, food not bombs, sweaters, and “bands ive never actually heard”. This week sounditoutrecordstc has got the Stuck In the Past crew on the edge of their seats and the limits of their paypal accounts
Syracuse Straight Edge shirt
I’m sure one of our friends on here can fill us in on this little gem for sale by skesis. I love that fact that I knew it was an XL before I read the description. Good baggy times had by all. Keep posted to the comments for info as it rolls in.
Syracuse BINs on the Cheap
moniskater has some cheap BINs up now. Get one for your favorite vegan warrior. If you are that vegan warrior, get one (or more) for yourself. They are so cheap you can probably afford a few. Is that Wegman’s still open outside of Syracuse? I bet Earth Crisis loves that spot.
Cabal 316: 1993 – 2003
Cabal 315 was big in the Syracuse area. Actually, pretty big across all of upstate. You couldn’t swing a (vegan) dead cat around your head at a show without hitting 2-3 tees. This one from buskenyc came out after the hey day. It was actually created in an attempt to get the shirt biz back up and running. It didn’t stick, but this year, the gang got it up and going again. You may recall seeing the tees at United Blood… So go ahead and grab this. In just a few years, they’ll have to work on that 20th Anniversary tee.
Earth Crisis
Not a bad looking Earth Crisis tee. No bulldogs present due to it being from a reunion gig a few eyars back and not from the 90s although you might be fooled by the color choice of the tee. A good choice for anyone who hasnt broken their vegan edge. Dunkleman40 coming through with this auction.
Snapcase Isn’t Cool Anymore …
Growing up in Maine, we didn’t get a lot of “cool” gigs.
Bold never played Maine. Youth Of Today never played Maine … Granted, I would have only been 10 or 11 when they played.
But lots of cool bands never played Maine. We had Sam Black Church and Tree every weekend. Oddly, I don’t recall Murphy’s Law ever playing Maine.
So when “major” bands would come through, kids would come out in force. Such was the case on June 14, 1997.
June 14 1997 @Zootz Portland Maine: Snapcase, Cast Iron Hike, Eventide and Ground Zero
Kids were lined out of Zootz waiting for this gig. The moshing was intense (for Maine, mind you. Years later, I would see Madball play a Masonic Lodge in Cambridge, Mass. It was then that I learned what HARD moshing really was). The crowd went crazy. And when Snapcase played, the place blew up. They covered She by The Misfits. Dudes were stoked.
This particular shirt is an obvious Outspoken rip-off. “Straight Edge Isn’t Cool Anymore … So What?” Snapcase loved to make shows for one day events. I had a Hungry Charlies shirt somewhere. This one is dated June 18, 1995 with a Syracuse NY mention. We’ll have to get Guav or Buske to comment on the significance.

Destroy the Machines
” I neatly trimmed 1/4″ off the ends of both sleeves but not real noticeable.”
“Shirt is in solid shape.”
I dont know man. I beg to differ with both of these statements. Good record though. A solid LP if youre into that style of HC. EC shows around this time were always a mega blast! They recently played in Japan but I didnt have a chance or the dough to check them out.
