I love everything about this Step Forward shirt. Boston Straight Edge. Still On Top. Royal blue for the win. And the fact that it was sold at Edge Day a few years back (you know, the last Have Heart show …). I talked to Kenny the other day at Triple B Records showcase and asked him when the new EP was coming out. He said he had some of the vocals down, just needed one or two more. That’d be cool, right? This longsleeve from no-other-way is a medium. I have a medium too. They are small. Very small. I want a large. Someone hook me up.

Maybe it’s just because these don’t show up all that often, or maybe it’s because they don’t do anything all that often, but you’d think Step Forward the band would have done a rip of a Step Forward records Drug Free Youth tee by now. The one in this auction from 80std195 has a classic Edgeman style that would fit them perfectly. Plus extra points for including the “THE” in The Straight Edge.

Step Forward is a shining example of the Boston Straight Edge. Too bad they a) never practice b) never play shows c) never release new music. How long has it been since the demo came out? Too long, that’s for sure. The people demand new music. Let your voice be heard, people. Tell them what you want. While you wait, snag this tshirt from bleedingpowers. Ice grey rules. I had a size large with green ink. It was super ill fitting. No idea why. Just super long and narrow. I’m thinking I should pick up this medium …

We Interrupt The Metal Monday Night Shift With BINs!

Quick break from the Metal to bring you a large batch of mostly low BIN’s from seller xbackontrack, tho he makes up for some of those low prices with a $7 shipping charge… still, even with the shipping, it’s still a bunch of reasonable BIN’s. The only high one posted here is this Step Forward tee, but the BIN price makes sense given what SF gear has been selling for…

(You might still be able to get that TWS ringer from Six Feet Under Records, not sure tho. I AM sure that most of this stuff can be found for full price elsewhere just in general tho.)

Dunno how Murphy left these two from icegrillz05 out of his post on LOC approved shirts. Especially this one, which was one of the very first Mental designs, and would have gone nicely with the Unholy Man TWS shirt…

Actually, now that I think about it, I understand why Murphy left off this one; because it’s not from the early days of the LOC. But it’s still one of the best tees to ever sport the LOC on the back…

Seller xmaulx brings us one from National Edge Day 2008…

I’m not sure if these were made in numbers as few as Barrows’ free FP shirts, but this is still a rare bit of Boston Straight Edge wear, as this is the only Step Forward shirt made with their original name of Loud And Clear, and it was sold only at that years show. And I would be remiss if I did not find a reason to mention Scace when talking about SF… Scace did not play the gig these were sold at. It was the only gray cloud on an otherwise perfect day.

Life just hasn’t been the same since Scace moved to Arizona. It is my firm belief that if he had never moved, Step Forward would gig far more often, because then he would still be in the line up, and as we all know: Scace lives for the gig. I’m sure soulvice88 agrees.

More gold from icegrillz05. This one ending soon. You thought we would let it slip under the radar. This band slips under a lot of peoples radar because they dont play often. Blame Scace for that? Is this band still active? Either way killer shirt. Love the logo. Good core look.
