Loose Nut

One of PKR‘s favorite customers, bill_haas, brings us this stone cold classic. You can bid with confidence that this one comes from the original owner too.

Obligatory side story: I watched in shock/horror/hatred/extreme emotional distress/etc when some crusty old fart dealer pulled one of these out of a box at the WFMU record fair a couple years ago for five bucks along with a similar vintage Circle Jerks shirt. My consolation prize was an original of this, which is cool and all, but…

Drooooooooool

Man oh man do I love this thing. Schleifendiuretikum says its from the late 80s but with that tag I would be willing to wager its from the early to mid 90s. Not that it should matter the thing is incredible. Some people throw that word around but this hood really is incredible. If I had more paypal funds(more that zero) I would be bidding a stupid amount of money on it but that is because I have no self control.

Process of weeding out

I couldnt tell you if this shirt from jddc010 is really from 1985 or not. I have an old Black Flag shirt with just the bars logo and it also says copyright 1985 and the tag on the shirt is an SST brand shirt but There is no way in hell mine is from 1985. Maybe late 80s or early 90s by the feel and look of it. Either way an older BF shirt is an older BF shirt and that makes it cool. I may not like this record at all but that graphic was always cool to me. I also am kinda in love with the title of that record.

My War

This is an older Black Flag shirt. Not a gig era shirt but early 90s. During that time period SST was using a lot of shirts with their own tags on the inside. They were pretty good quaity shirts too. The cotton is pretty thick on them. This shirt is not as cool as a “Side 2″ My War shirt but its still pretty cool. Does anyone know when they stopped using those shirts with those tags?
Musboy20 looks to be another southeast Asia based bulk vintage clothes buyer/sellerr so watch those shipping rates before you decide to bid.

1985 Black Flag shirt

Now this is what I call a plain and simple shirt. Definitely not as cool as some of the tour shirts, but looks(?) to be an original from 1985. Not too much in the way of a description or pictures, so be sure to do your due diligence before bidding.

Raymond Pettibon Original Fanzine Extravaganza!

Raymond Pettibon instant zine collection!
If I only had the dough. I would love to have any of these but I know if I get one its gonna open a whole can of worms for me and Ill have to hunt them all down. These were available from SST in the mid 80′s. All hand numbered and usually out of a one time print run of 500.  Pettibon work is only going up and up so maybe its time to start grabbing these before you start kicking yourself like youre doing about all those records you could have picked up for half the price like 5 years ago.

SST – Seasons Beatings

Growing up in rural Maine during the late 80s and early 90s left very little opportunity for exposure to GREAT music. Sure, we got Casey Kasem and the rest of the top 40 shit, but I’m talking about GOOD music. We eventually had two outlets. Bull Moose and the Sessions Catalog. Not sure how we got hooked into the Sessions Catalog, but it may have literally been a gift from god (just like that old CCS catalog!). We would pour over it for days when it arrived. It was chalk full of gear from SST, Alternative Tentacles and plenty of skateboard/snowboard brands. My memory is pretty freaking foggy, but I believe this tee was featured in a holiday issue.

I’d guess this shirt was released during the Holiday ’92 season. That would be appropriate for the Rodney King and holiday references. Pretty satirical little tee here. Good look.
