I dont think Im in the wrong when I say that Shelter has a lot of terrible looking shirts. When I think Shelter shirts I think piss grey, natural color shirts, and weirdo logo placements. But this longsleeve is actually something I would rock the shit out of. Its pretty clean and simple. Its got a nice vintage EVR look to it. Its ending soon and to be honest Im kinda surprised its not much higher than 20 bucks! Maybe you can catch a deal from gecco0603

We Found A Better Way

My dude Danny aka alliedtrailers continues to pull out some great merch. I sold this same longsleeve (mine was white) a few months ago and I have to say that the navy works way better (sorry Murphy) for the design. I’m still not 100% sure of the era of the band but from what I understand its somewhere between Attaining the Supreme and Mantra. Can we get a ruling on the sleeves? Wizard or no wizard?

In Defense Of Relisting

Seller pingler had this same piss gray/orange Shelter shirt up for sale in December, and the auction ended at $30+. The current auction makes no mention of any deadbeat sellers, or problems with the last auction. It’s pretty safe to say that the buyer last time flaked, as there is no feedback anywhere for this shirt. I still enjoy this shirt, and I hope it finally finds a good home.

I Need Your Kidney Print

Maybe it was the time period but were more bands printing shirts with the kidney print? My Earth Crisis “Conviction Records” longsleeve has a print in the same area and that was roughly around 1992-ish. Just an odd place to print…ahh the 90s. sharpieadict has this old Shelter shirt that was sold through Revelation in the early 90s. I had this same design in a longsleeve and sold it on Ebay for more than I expected so Im curious to see where this one goes. Love the pre-Equal Vision back print.

One (Oh Eight) Path For Me Through Destiny

Often, many hardcore kids want nothing to do with religion or religion in their music but they are usually okay with 108. Maybe it’s because of the who’s who in the band or because the band is just good but them, Shelter and the Cro Mags (if you want to consider them a Krishna band) are the others. Maybe it’s just the Krishna bands and not the Christian bands…anyway, xburgunderx is selling an Equal Vision era tee which would later be reprinted when the band got back together. I like this one more than the reprints though…the reprints have the photo mirrored as well as the absence of the EVR logo and no dancing girl on the front. Little bit of fading on the back print but being that the shirt is roughly 15-16 years old, I’d say it’s worth a bid or two.

Here is another staple out of the donjuanepstein storage unit collection. Nothing too exciting to see here, but the condition of this one looks great. Especially for a white shirt in storage. I will be bidding if the price stays low.

Shelter Quest For Certainty shirt

In contrast to the Shelter shirt I posted this morning, this “Quest For Certainty” shirt also for sale by pingler is NOT one of my favorites. I don’t even mind the navy blue yuckiness coupled with baby blue ink. It’s the back that doesn’t do the trick for me. It reminds me of a hostage/ransom note like you see in the moving pictures. Not my cup o’ joe.

The piss gray parade carries on a second day with this Shelter “In Defense Of Reality” shirt for sale by pingler. This is one of my favorite Shelter shirts. There is something about that little touch of orange that makes this one pop for me. Piss gray and all, I will be bidding on this one.

Here We Go Again

Is it just me or did a decent amount of the Shelter shirts have weird placement for their prints? I sold an old Rev Shelter shirt and the front featured the “Kidney print”. This is a later 90s Shelter shirt that doveyr is selling which features the Supersoul logo on the back should. Not in the middle of the back or the “tramp stamp” print but on the shoulder. Weird…the full color front print definitely makes up it. I’m pretty sure this was for “Beyond Planet Earth” which I haven’t heard in I can’t tell you how long. Ska song…just sayin.

We’ve seen this Shelter tee being sold by vandabbs before but this one seems to be in great shape compared to the last one. I love the full color front and the wheel on the back…great look and a great record.
