Every early Danzig shirt is a banger and this one like the last is no exception. derangedinchaos has a vintage circa 1988 God Dont Like It shirt. I remember when these things would hit $300 every time a few years back, and for good reason . Everyone should have one of these in their collection. Its the kind of shirt you wear to Cracker Barrel on a sunday morning.

What Are You Reading Glenn?

The other day I posted about the first Slayer shirt I ever saw. Well this is the first Danzig shirt I ever saw. I wont name names this time but I remember walking the halls of 7th grade and seeing someone wear this and thinking “What the fuck is that and why is it uncensored??” The dude wearing it was a skater and looked far less sketchy that my Slayer dude, but he was also known to wear Skrewdriver shirts and X up in school while doing acid after school. He became a friend of mine shortly after despite his fake edge, but 33 year old me wishes I had bro-ed down with Slayer dude more.

The coolest Samhain shirt ever

This is one that might slip under some peoples radar. Its been printed and reprinted and bootlegged countless times. But lek_vintage has here an original Samhain Initium shirt. How can you tell you ask? Well the Screen Stars tag and the fact that its got only 2 colors of ink. The original shirts made by Plan 9/the band were like that. Why its in Thailand I have NO idea, but I would consider this a good deal if youre a Misfits/Samhain collector

If big-galute is to be believed, this Samhain shirt is from the 86-87. That’d be during the murky period where Samhain was on the out and the name Danzig was coming in. No tag, and it’s tiny. 17.5 inches pit to pit. Given the lack of tag and size, the BIN seems a little … steep. But hey, that’s me. He claims it is original, who am I to argue? I wouldn’t want someone to call us out on a “fake bootleg” sighting again …

BIN SAMHAIN Plan 9 shirt

Here is what seller orca2010 is calling an original SAMHAIN Plan 9 shirt from 1986. I am by no means a Misfits/SAMHAIN/Danzig, but I figured this might interest some of you. I tried to dig up some official info on this shirt, but I could not find much of anything. Can any of you confirm that this is original?

Another Danzig related tee from s-king-sickboy. Love this tee. One of my favorite record covers of all time. Giant Tees had the loc on so many band tees in the 90s. I dont think any of them fit well though. I wanna say all Giant tees fit like they are named, giant. The measurements on this seem to bee pretty good though. If I can get my paypal up I might have to put in a tasty little bid

Riddle me this, How does Danzig get away with blatently ripping off so many graphics? I wonder if he was ever sued for any of them? anyone know if he has caught legal beef over anything? It makes you think on what other stuff he ripped off and hasnt been caught out on yet.
It still blows my mind on how many things(band/skate graphics) I looked up to in awe as a kid were ripped off.

But I just don’t think Danzig really deserves to be lumped into such a narrow description as “metal”. The good records anyways. So I waited a day. November Coming Fire

One of my favorite graphics of all time! I could stare at this art forever. Seller states that its from the late 80s but Id ask for a pic of the tag to be sure. And maybe even a pic of the back of the shirt while youre at it. That is a bit of piss poor ebaying etiquette. Maybe that will keep the price down on such a fine looking shirt though.

Another Worcester story.

Back in 1999, a lot of poker was played at & Einhorn under the shadow of the Samhain Poker Hand poster. Now, I’m not sure if that’s the name of the design, but that’s what I always referred to it as. Now the poster I have has quite the pedigree. I got it from Jim C of Soul Control. He got it from Seth who got it from Jim C who got it from Seth. You following this? Seth got it from an old Worcester punker. Back when Seth was a youth, he rolled with this older crew. One of the punkers took him under his wing and gave him this poster, among a bunch of other stuff.

Now this poster is cool. Real huge (compare to that chair or my couch and ottoman), real thick card stock, but it’s been around the block once or twice.
