Harms Way!

Yesterday was a big day at Sound And Fury festival. Lots of big named bands, plenty of heavy mosh. Seriously, heavy mosh. Terror, Donnybrook, Alpha & Omega, Rotting Out, Piece By Piece, … It was brutal. Sitting near the door, we got to see all the battle wounded. The kid with the bleeding scalp, the kid with the gushing shin and the kid with the swollen and bleeding eye. It was rough. But one of the bands on everyones lips was Harms Way. Kids were stoked to see them. I can’t imagine how brutal it’s going to be. Good luck out there today, friends.

Bid with ease. adam_ohhc is a great seller. I’m not going to suggest this tshirt for the “Team Jesus” dude, but I bet “God Free Youth” kid could hang.

Tee Till Death Shirts … Going Fast

Awesome. We’ve had A LOT of interest in our Tee Till Death Tees post. Lots of hits, LOTS of purchases (shout outs to one loyal reader in Japan who ordered FOUR. Now that’s a good friend!). To that point, we’ve decided to cap the sales tomorrow at noon (or earlier if we reach a certain shirt sales number). We want to thank all our loyal readers who have already ordered them. Truly, we feel humbled. As for the rest of you mugs, if you are at Sound And Fury Fest, hit us up. You can purchase one of these shirts then and there.

Peace!

The Mongoloids & Sound And Fury

Oh man, getting psyched. I rolled over to Casali’s last night to bin up all our merch. It was a healthy stack of tees but not too many. It was a good time rolling tees and talking merch. Talking classic tees with Casali is always good. It also doesn’t hurt that I got to check out the Wishingwell Records shirtography while I was there. Such an ill collection. It also put me on the topic of OTHER upcoming merch from Sound And Fury Fest. I love dreaming about merch. What will we see? Who will bring the most zany item (triple b?)? If I had to guess, I would lay money down on the Mongoloids. These guys never fail. And thanks to iron69eagle, you can check out LOTS of previous years fest or show merch. Dude is selling an armful, but in the world of The Mongoloids, it’s not even a small percentage of ALL their shirts. Check it!

Tee Till Death Tees

If you weren’t aware, Tee Till Death just passed it’s official one year anniversary. It sort of flew under ALL of our radars as we’ve been building up to Sound And Fury fest. Over the last year, we’ve had a lot of highlights. Lots of great shirts, plenty of terrible shirts. All along, our readership and crowd interaction has grown. We have lots of loyal readers to thank for that. And a few great sponsors too (check them out on the homepage, right hand side, easy).

Leading up to Sound And Fury, we wanted to do something special for the gig. We also wanted to include our readers from abroad, or those who will not be in attendance at Sound And Fury Fest. With this in mind, you will see us at Sound And Fury, sitting behind a table slinging shirts, giving out freebies and meeting the people. We’ll try to do a few cool promotions along the way. So if you are a reader, come by. We’ll probably try to photograph your tee for the site, maybe a few other things.

And if you are NOT attending Sound And Fury, we want to hook you up too. For a very limited time, we’re going to make the shirt available for reservation. Here’s what that means. We have the shirts in stock. If you want one, you paypal some loot and your shirt size over to us. $14 for US, $17 international. Our paypal address is thenoizecorp@gmail.com. We’ll then ship them out after the fest. We have sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL. Order soon because sizes are limited. We want to make sure we have plenty for Sound And Fury too so may cut off “pre-orders” early if we hit a certain count. Just saying …

Now onto the tees. What you are looking at here is LOTS of hard work from our main man Jaybil. Each of these graphics was redrawn by hand. All the halftones were his work, all the details and minutia. Dude busted his ass on these, and we’re stoked to be able to offer them to all of you.

How about a close up of the back? Which shirts do you own? I know which SHIRT I own …

Thank you for your support and all the feedback you’ve given us so far. Jump on these shirts as they are excellent.

There you go!

And the winner of the 3 day pass to Sound And Fury Festival 2010 is …

Justin Cuevas, jtcxxx1988@*****.***

He had the most right answers (in fact, he only missed the Have Heart song), AND he was the first responder. Not too bad. Justin, hit us up. We’ll need some info for you for the SAF crew. If you know Justin, make sure to congratulate him!

Everyone else, thanks for your entries. It was fun. If you submitted an entry, hit us up at SAF, I’ll hook you up with a discounted _____!

Contest: Sound And Fury Trivia

Ok, folks. The time has come! We’re getting into the final stage of our grand Sound And Fury Fest promotion. Hopefully everyone has enjoyed the SAF flavored posts so far, now it’s time for FREE STUFF! All along we’ve been hinting at the “other” prize. Today is the day. The prize is a free 3 day pass to Sound And Fury. AND if you come up to the TeeTillDeath table during Sound And Fury, you’ll be handed MORE stuff. The “MORE stuff” is coming together right now, in fact. Expect some teasers on that in a few days.

But since this prize is a little above and beyond, we figured we would throw together some Sound And Fury trivia. To enter, answer as many of these questions as possible and shoot an email over to teetilldeath@gmail.com with the subject “saf trivia contest.” Whoever has the most correct answers wins a free pass. If there are multiple emails with the most right answers, we’ll pick one (perhaps the first, maybe random?). Since these questions aren’t for the faint of heart, we’re giving you a whole week to answer them (or cheat off your friends, it’s all good by us!). That means by July 14th at noon YOU could win a free 3 day pass to Sound And Fury Fest. Free Mosh Is The Best Mosh!

Now onto the questions.

1. Name the first band to play Sound And Fury ever.

2. Name the bands which Sound And Fury is their ONLY California show.

3. What bands played Sound And Fury as their “Last Show” gig?

4. In 2007, Eric Ozenne’s band played Sound And Fury. What was the name of this band and how were they listed on SAF flyers/posters?

5. What song did Have Heart play to open their headlining set at Sound And Fury 2007?

One other thing, if you already have your 3 day pass, feel free to enter. I get the feeling we’ll have some super limited items to give away … And if you are too lazy to use google, just leave a comment down below, and I’ll pick one winner for our “lazy” prize.

The Illuminati Horror Show

Is it just me or does this Alpha And Omega sweatshirt posted by xchatomanx give off a weird Illuminati horror graphic? I could picture this coming out of the mid 90s Dark Horse stable, you know? Whatever the case, Alpha And Omega are doing something right. They are working hard on blowing up. Most shows these days have a kid or two in Alpha And Omega gear. Good for them. Should be cool to see them at Sound And Fury Fest. I’m looking forward to that.

Mindset Longsleeves

I love Mindset. And it appears itsxdead does too. He has some excellent longsleeves up on ebay now. Plus one or two (or three or four) short sleeves. This is a good thing for all of us. I don’t get to see Mindset often enough. And as far as I can recall, I’ve only seen them once. Like I said, not enough. Luckily, I got to hang with Mike a few months back. It was awesome.

Now these longsleeves are fucking amazing. Check them out. Lots of straight edge pride, lots of good looks. West Coast 2008 tour. Amazing. We can only hope they bring such awesome gear to Sound And Fury. Keep your fingers crossed.

The Free (Spirit) Tshirt Winner!

We had a lot of entries, plenty socked aside for contest #2. Now we’re happy to present the winner of the Free Spirit tee.

Casey

Hit us up dude, and we’ll get the shirt right out to you. Everyone else, stay tuned for the next installment of the Sound And Fury Fest trivia.

Floorpunch Sound And Fury 2009

Over the last few years, Floorpunch has been hitting it hard around the globe. Unofficially, they played their Final, Final Show over the weekend. We’ll see if that lasts. In the last 10 years, I’ve seen more scab lineup FP gigs than I ever saw OG lineup FP gigs. A little funny. But you know the FP crew never fails to impress. In 2009, they rolled out to Sound And Fury. I was jealous. Before rolling, they screened up all sorts of special gig merch. This tee would be one of those. I never got one, but am hoping to scoop this one from bcox631. We shall see. Shoot outs to morGODo on the surfing mosh man.
