I dont think I remember this Right Brigade shirt that marfeline is selling. I went to a lot of Right Brigade gigs and picked up a lot of Right Brigade merch. This shirt is drawing a total blank on me. Anyone have any idea when this came out? Looks like the band made them cause it doesnt look like the ink was set all the way. We havnt posted up much RB merch recently but im glad this came up because now im listening to the demo. I suggest you do the same.

I always loved this shirt. It came in two colorways. This white on black version and also a blue on grey shirt. Both were sold around the same time. I dont remember the exact gig I got mine at but it was somewhere up in Mass and IME played. I really wish I could use my brain power for remembering good things instead of all this useless information like where I bought tshirts 10 years ago. I wonder if x614x got his at the same gig?

Barfight Brigade.

You know how pretty much every time we post a Right Brigade or Barfight tee on here, we end up posting the video of Standhard singing with Barfight? Ever wondered what show that was from? Well here’s our friend Thomas with the answer, along with the shirt from the show…

One of the members of Barfight got married and had a wedding show. All the bands listed above played*. Standhard got up and Barfight played a Right Brigade song. Such a fun show.

*- said bands included American Nightmare. Their name is on the the shirt too. Just sayin’.

I kind of feel for Chip, knowing that whatever he posts is now in danger of the wrath of a Standhard comment hating on his choice of 90s vegan bands or what not. Still, blogger loyalty aside, Standhard is my man. If he can’t do it, no one can, to quote Joey C. I’m sure him tormenting poor Chip is just a start of a Mullet Board-esque reign of comment terror…

heathens with more Boston love. Not my favorite RB shirt by far. How did they get stuck using a spade in the logo? It should have been a skinhead moshing. Anyways, I just put on the demo and Im still into it. Not saying im gonna listen to it everyday but it does hold a special place in my heart.

My random RB facts.
-I own one of the elusive “clevo sucks” cover 7″s
-The demo is the 2nd recording ive ever “sang” backups on.
-I still own the Bad Brains shirt that Jesse Standhard is wearing on the insert.
-Standhard typed out the lyrics to the demo at my grandmas house.
-In a folder with flyers and stuff I still have all the scraps of a papers with the hand written lyrics to the demo on them somewhere.

Bonus Fact
-Jesse Standhard loves my grandmothers pierogis(who doesnt?!?)

Right Brigade – Sleeveless

As I recall, lots of these Right Brigade tees became sleeveless. There was a time in LOC history where EVERY shirt was made sleeveless. Hell, Lockin Out #1 Fanzine Ish #2 (I think it was #2), even devoted a column on the proper removal of sleeves from tees. It appears as if the previous owner of this shirt from taylorkc took the advice of that field guide. Taylor states that he is not the first owner. The first owner took the sleeves. Sharp look. This Right Brigade tee is good. I’m tired. I’ve been raking all day. I’d love to tell you a story about the time Jesse Standhard stage dove head first into stage potatoes while holding a mic. I’d love to go into great details, but I’m fucking tired. Instead, you can buy this shirt from littleseahuman and peep this video. That’s all you need. Also, how come I can only find ONE Right Brigade video on youtube? That’s just wrong.

Helping Friends Out

Over the weekend, a lot of cool shit happened. I saw some excellent bands and pitted with some dudes I haven’t pitted with in 8-9 years. Pretty awesome times. Good karma flows. And there was plenty of good times elsewhere too. A reader was looking for a Right Brigade tee in XL. I couldn’t find one, but I did find a medium from burningfight55. If you have an XL, hit us up. We need to find this guy one.

And then on the flipside of the internet, our good friend Marcus over on Endless Quest Records had a lot of nice things to say about our shirt. He mostly talks about records, but this might be the first shirt he’s blogged about. Pretty psyched on what he had to say. You should go read his blog, it’s a good read.
