Statue Longsleeve

crushedonyou has continually pulled some amazing tees out of the closet, be it late 80s hardcore or 90s. This time he’s pulled out a Statue longsleeve that looks to be in great shape. Some minimal cracking on the back but overall it looks great…plus you can’t beat that Rev sleeveprint. I didn’t get into Statue until I was older because their record came out during that period where Rev was shying away from their earlier sound and I wanted nothing to do with it if it didn’t sound like Judge or GB. My loss at the time…better late than never. Did Rev ever make any other Statue designs besides this one?

Bold Bold

str8t8 has two old classics that never go out of style. I dont think theres such a thing as a bad Bold shirt. Bad Bold record yes, but these are two prime examples of cool. That Speak Out shirt is like the Steve McQueen of hardcore shirts. The description calls it original but its also a size Medium which isnt very 80s. Still awesome if you ask me.

GB Summer Tour 89

If you’ve been following us for the last few weeks, you know the story behind donjuanepstein and his friend that owes him money so he gave him a bin of old shirts to help make up for it. Well he continues to pull out more amazing tees like this Gorilla Biscuits “Summer Tour 89″ design. This has everything I love on one tee: the gorilla, the Rev star and a great live photo on the back. As with all his auctions, he will not give you a measurement but he believes the shirt is a Large. Definitely a seller to watch after all those Burn tees Morgado posted the other day

Whatever It Takes, We’ll Stand Together

alliedtrailers is selling one of the three Battery shirts that Rev printed for the “Whatever It Takes” record. This is probably my least favorite of the three. No Rev logo either…not a bad design, just kinda bland. This was also printed on black.

CIV Rev Star.

It’s been a pretty great week so far for old Rev shirts, but spinrecords now brings us one that I’m guessing is of a more recent vintage. I don’t remember Rev making CIV tees with the star until maybe around the time that discography came out on EVR… then again, I do remember having a giant poster with this image on it on my wall back in 1996 or whenever it was that Set You Goals and the Social Climber ep on Rev came out. I dunno, who cares really. If you like CIV, it’s still a pretty good tee.

Judge 1990.

The old Rev tee spree continues this week, only this time we jump over from live_hard, to seller vandabbs, who brings us an old Rev mail order Judge tee from 1990. Not as radical as Stormin’ Through tee or anything, but still cool, with some ill concert gray fading happening. It’s a little rough on the back print, but a well worn tee is a almost always a well loved one…

Early Bold Rev’s.

I’ve never been the biggest Bold fan, but I’ve always admitted that they’ve got some classic looking merch. And now seller live_hard brings us a pair of early Revelation Bold tees that I’ve never even seen! They both use the same pic, but one has a swank Rev star pocket print and the other uses the usual Bold/Revelation Records back print. Which is which? Man you gotta find SOME things out for yourself…

Speaking of old Rev era tees, sonsvintage has a Gorilla Biscuits BIN for you to make an offer on. Or simply purchase if you prefer; 50 bucks including shipping doesn’t seem too outrageous for an older GB tee I guess, but as pointed out in our comments section: Bob Shedd designed these for Rev a couple years ago, and they’re still available for $12 thru them. So yeah, if you really have to have THIS one, I’d go with an offer. A really, really low one.

Bland Ignite Rev Shirt

I remember Rev selling this Ignite shirt right when “Past Our Means” was released. I always thought it was kinda boring. Over the next couple of years, Rev made shirts featuring a minimal front design with the star on the back. Some worked (Battery), some didn’t (Morning Again). 516brianmccann2710 is selling this Ignite shirt that I just kinda feel like it needs a live photo on the back or something of that nature. Not bad but it’s not the Past Our Means shirt.
