Cold World had their first “last show” at Posi Numbers in 05, then I think on NYE going into 06 or 07 they played a show in Canada. I remember the moment the show was over the internet was going crazy about these hoodies. They were going for hundreds of dollars! I’m unsure if they were reprinted at some point since then, but if not then they are still a pretty rare item. dean.parrish is selling a medium, hes also selling a few other Cold World items if you’re interested.

Mental At Posi Numbers 2003.
Posi Numbers 2003 footage has finally surfaced on the youtubes, which means I’ve FINALLY gotten to see the Mental set in it’s entirety. And thankfully, there are several auctions for early era Mental tees that I can post up along with it (tho I’m not so sure the Greg drawn hoodie qualifies, as I can’t remember for sure if it was pre or post GAOT. But they don’t really pop up that often so I’m including it).
There are LOTS of bad stage dives, but it’s evened out by the many other awesome things going on. Standhard moshing. JR from Get Real’s white jumpsuit. Young Barrows. A moshing and diving MELILLO~!… I could go on forever. #bestoftimes
It’s Our Turn…
Now, I don’t know very much about Out Turn, so I can’t say whether or not its.les’s BIN for this is reasonable… I’m guessing not.
Now this is actually a really nice looking shirt. In a strange way, it reminds me of if you combined a Cornerstone tee with the A Wish To Dream UC shirt. But literally the only thing I remember about this band is that they opened their set at Posi Numbers 2004 by doing the intro to the Hard Stance song Our Turn, causing DFJ, CC, and myself to come running out, dive right off the stage, and start moshing, only to slink away bummed out when they didn’t play the entire song. And that’s literally all I’ve got. So if they were huge or something and the three of us missed the boat, by all means please let me know.
Two Words…
I generally try to stay away from posting Wrong Side shirts unless I drew the art for them or have a story to tell, but ruffryderz1023‘s explanation for how he came to own this last show longsleeve (ending today!) was too good to not post…
“I think I got this in a trade for beer from someone. Can’t remember, but I know I wasn’t at the show.”
Two words indeed.
I should point out, however, that these were sold at at least 3 different “last shows” that I can think of. We originally made them for Posi Numbers 05 (last show #1), but that went to hell and we never played, so we just kept gigging and selling them until the Last Supper show (last show #3, with the Integrity show the month before as #2, though it was Mission that said that and not us), where we did a new batch with blue print instead of red. And even then there were still some leftover XL’s of the red print floating around for us to sell at a couple of the gigs that came after that. So basically what I’m saying is, this could have been bought any time we played from 2005 to 2007, and not necessary at our “last show”.
Be sure to check out the other auctions, as ruffryderz1023 has a bunch of good stuff ending over the next 12 or so hours.
Integrity – Cleveland Hardcore
I’ve only seen Integrity once. Yeah, I know, that’s weird. With all the recent reunion gigs, you’d think I would have seen them more. I saw them play Posi Numbers back in 2003. Casali and I had been hanging out all day. I purchased a TERRIBLE fluorescent Astros cap for $4. It was a good gag hat all weekend. I ended up sitting behind Chubby Fresh during the set, and it was complete MAYHEM. This was after Integrity 2000 and before the real reunion gigs. Kids had gone a long time without seeing this band perform the old tracks. It was intense for Integrity (granted, that day Ringworm killed it too). Years later, I heard Integrity played some bar in Cambridge. Of course, I heard about it the day after as everyone was going on and on about how awesome it was. D’oh.
If this hood wasn’t navy blue, I’d gladly take it off of viciousskin’s hands. In a heartbeat.
The Weirdest Things End Up In Vintage Stores.
One time I even found a Youth Defense League shirt in one. It’s as true for eBay as it is for actual vintage stores and thrift shops. For example, rhiagypsy_vintage‘s other auctions are nothing but Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, Polo type stuff and rock tshirts like the kind you find in Target. Oh, and this:
Totally random, for me especially because it’s one I drew. If I had known how it was getting printed, I probably wouldn’t have colored the Crimson Ghost all the way… the design also contains references to Bad Brains, Judge, Gorilla Biscuits (obviously), and So Be It (!). And yes I appreciate the irony of having a dude punching someone out front and center. Ah well. Boy, that year had a great line up.
The Desperate Measures, AF, and Outbreak sets were INSANE. Absolutely insane.
Ice Grillz
thejmacuniverse can’t recall who is pictured on this limited Cold World shirt. Posi Numbers 2005, word. Let’s remind him.
Fest Season Approaches …
Fest season is ON! Well, realistically it starts around United Blood. They’re the early birds. Then it’s Rain Fest, Sound And Fury, This Is Hardcore, The Great American Hardcore Fest, … And shit loads that I don’t even know exist. And that just covers the bases I can remember in AMERICA alone. Never mind Fluff Fest and the others (that I definitely don’t know but would likely love to attend). And this isn’t even taking into account the showcases and large one day events (back to school jam anyone??). Lets take a minute to remember the fests we’ve lost along the way: Sink With California, Posi Numbers (RIP), … But if United Blood is your jam, grab this shirt withoutfear88 is selling. Good look (AND font) from 2008.
Go Vegetarian
Justice sold these shirts at Posi Numbers 2005. This was the last Posi Numbers. Too bad because it was one of the best fests. East coast, and always mad heads. The pool at The Woodlands was unfuckwithable.
So we had set up a tent within the turfed dome to sell some HowsYourEdge merch out of. We ended up giving Morgado some space to sell his Wrongside merch too. Good times.
At one point, I thought I was having a dehydration crazy dream. I saw a dude wandering around in a shirt that said “Go Vegetarian” on the back. As a dude who has been vegan for some years, I was pretty stoked on this tee. I then realized that not only did the back say “Go Vegetarian,” but SO DID THE FRONT. Of course, it turns out it was a “one of one,” and the dude wearing it was in Justice (pretty sure it was Flip … but don’t quote me on that). I asked him about the tee. He told me it was a one off and then he directed me towards the Justice merch table where they were selling the regular version. They ended up selling out already, and I was forever on the hunt. A year back, I was telling a good friend this story and my woes of never getting one. He reached into his drawer and handed me his. Literally. It was easy as that. Best dude, for obvious reasons.
“Burgers Are Made Of What!?!”
So unless your friend has one of these to give to you, I’d suggest picking this one up.
