Tee Till Death

If you are going to drop coin on Madball gear, at lest make sure it’s cool(and legit). This one is BOTH of those things. Sure there is a little hole in the back, but isn’t that what you want in a Madball shirt? This shirt looks loved, broken in and ready for a new home. It’s an XL too, so you know I am watching this one closely.

Maybe I’m a buffoon, but this Skarhead long sleeve looks to be a perfect spring time shirt. Can’t you picture yourself delivering some street justice or laying down some mulch in the crisp spring air while wearing this shirt?

The Mongoloids know good shirts. For example, they see an Altercation shirt such as this:

Add a super American patriot flair, and you wind up with this:

The not as cool Killing Time clock guy shirt. The “Just another Raw Deal” longsleeve is a certified classic. This one just doesnt hold up. Poor shirt color choice (although once we featured an uglier/better looking teal version!!!) and this incarnation of the clack guy reminds me of early 90s streetwear. Maybe its just me? A Killing Time shirt is a KIlling Time shirt so youre not really going wrong either way

This was a major want for me until last year when I finally picked it up. Mine is a lot more faded and the neck is starting to fray but I cant afford to buy a super condition one. Something about the Purple on white does it for me. I love the tiny Rev logo embedded into the design. Victory should have taken some notes from old Rev.

Some notes about this shirt that I have never gotten a concrete answer about. Some people claim this is an old bootleg as the letters are different than the original(posted below). The Rev logo is also positioned differently. Unless youre doing a side by side comparison you might not even notice

As you can see on this confirmed original, the letters extend beyond the 7″ graphic while the one for sale in the auction does not. Obviously different screens and different printing run.

Slimmer letter that are closer together. Also the purple inside doesnt completely fill the letters. Seller states “This is a genuine original GB shirt sold through Revelation mailorder back in 1988 when the 7in came out – not their first shirt but the first one sold by Rev.”

So does anyone have any concrete info on this? 90s bootleg? Label made official shirt?

Here is a Fury Of Five shirt that ends in a few hours. I defiantly would not be able to wear this shirt out in public. I can appreciate the back print, but it reminds of something you would see on a 1995 hardcore techno cd cover. Oh , and I am also not tough enough to wear it either.

Its hard for me to believe that Madball has been in existence for 20ish years! I guess “Ball of Destruction” did come out that long ago but still. Fuck its even harder to believe that “Set it Off” came out in 94! I remember being with Ed Heley when he picked it up at Tower records in NYC when it came out. Good time. Good Dude. I just set him a vinyl copy of the record for no reason. He doesnt really collect records anymore but I cant think of anyone who needs that record more than that dude. True Madball head. Anyways back to this shirt. For a 20th anniversary shirt you would think they could make something a little bit cooler. If this shirt isnt your size you can still cop this at allinmerch.com. Here is a common AF shirt printed by blue grape in the early/mid 90s. Unfortunatly many old Blue Grape shirts were printed as heat transfers which have a habit of turning yellow with time. The graphic itself is pretty sizeable but then again the shirt is an early/mid 90s XL so its probably a tent. Have fun buying this or cheap though.

Here is the Spoiler drawn Cro-mags shirt from one of the more recent JJ mags incarnations. Spoiler is my favorite Belgian/Canadien! His favorite thing to draw is skinheads. How fucking stoked must he have been to be able to draw a shirt for one of his all time favorite bands?!? Im stoked for him. I almost got to make a shirt for one of my favorite NYHC bands. They were stoked on it and asked me to send the art and that was the end of that. I sent it over and then It never got printed up. C’est La vie He also made a pretty chill graphic for the cromags. Way better than seeing a rehash of an old graphic. I have this shirt but have been thinking of doubling up cause I wear the shit out of mine. May have to cop this one.
