FINALLY IN MY EYES – WELCOME TO BOSTON

Finally, I thought we were going to go all day without seeing an In My Eyes shirt. xbmkusyx has come through with a classic tee. He has the shirt dated at 98-99 before In My Eyes broke up (someone drop the facts on this shirt for me). I watched the In My Eyes final show video at work today, man I wish I could have been at that show. This one is for Morgado hope this makes your day.

National Edge Day 2008

We love sellers that post up great stories along with their auctions. southparktvma is one of those sellers. Here’s the story.

I got this shirt (size MEDIUM) at Edge Day 08 in Haverhill. The line up was Free Spirit, No Tolerance, Waste Management, Blank Stare, Rampage, Step Forward, Alone in A Crowd (aka HXH) and Have Heart. Everyone was complaining that there weren’t big name bands on the show for 08, and then right after everyone THREW THEMSELVES on the Free Spirit and No Tolerance band wagon. I remember I walked into the gig, paid, and then was greeted by either AJ or Greg (I forget). (Ed. Note: It was Jason Barrow) He asked me what size shirt I was. Caught off guard, I thought he was trying to buy my What Feeds the Fire shirt off my back (shout out to Sean and Rich. I put out their new band Mouth of Flower’s 7″) but he was actually giving away I Floorpunch logo FP shirts. What a great gesture. I give a ton of free stuff away when I do my record label. It’s a good feeling. I’m sure handing out these shirts to X’ed up kids was a good feeling as well.

Also, southparktvma is a stand up dude. That last part about his label and giveaways is 1000% true. We did a test press giveaway with him a few weeks back, and he ended up sending us the test press, plus two other presses of the EP AND two other EPs (look forward to another VNZ giveaway soon). Once again, shout outs to Barrow too. Solid move giving away these shirts. Super positive.

This is a great one. Straight out of 2008, courtesy of Mr. Jason Barrow. He screened up a slew of these Floorpunch tees for Edge Day. He then GAVE them out to any kid who was Xed up. How about that? That’s fucking positive. And now, buymy$hit88 is selling it. Sort of weak. Especially with that BIN price. You decide. Great shirt, regardless. Great gig too.

You can track down original-style bands for cheap so don’t let that prevent you from bidding. Either way, I’m guessing he’ll do quite well for himself. Enjoy!

Edge Day (Observed) Show – Step Forward!

Sigh. Seller theyhaveteeth has up a Step Forward longsleeve I really, really want. But sadly, it’s a medium. Yuck. These shirts were actually sold a year ago at the last Have Heart gig at Club Lido. And possibly, but not likely, the night before in Haverhill at Anchors Up. Not many were made, and most were given to friends. Somehow, they sold out of larges right away. Bummersville.

Bane Tour 1999

A few days back, I posted up a Bane Tour 98 longsleeve. Today we’ll see a few items from xchokeholdx who has the goods on Bane’s fall tour of 1999. First up is a wind jacket. These were the fucking rage in the late 90s. They fell off for a few years until Shipwreck, Have Heart, Verse, … until those bands brought them back big. Was anyone else doing wind jackets in 2003 or 2004? I don’t think so. Now they seem to be a staple again. Good for people who catch a draft easy, I suppose.

Next up is the tour tshirt. US Fall Tour September 16 – October 19 1999. We all know what went down on October 19, 1999. Cool shit. This tshirt came in a few colors. Brown, green, black? And it came on a hooded sweatshirt. At least a hunter green color. This particular tshirt happens to be one of the accidental limited press. You’ll notice the front screen has two ink colors. The back is supposed to have that too. There is another screen with a modern looking automatic weapon (I’ll leave it up to our readers to figure out the actual model. Not my area of expertise) in a tan ink. This one does NOT have that screen. Apparently about 2 dozen of these shirts made it out the door before someone noticed and started adding the 2nd screen. The mistake couldn’t be fixed because the 2nd screen goes UNDER the screen shown below.

Finally, we have a 7XL “tree” shirt from blockoutthesunclothing. This isn’t actually from the 99 tour. Or the 98 tour, or the 2008 tour. It’s obviously a shitty ass bootleg. It doesn’t even look remotely like the original tshirt. Fuck bootlegs. “you’ll find all the official band merch you could ever want at great prices and amazing offers!” Yeah, right. What a piece of shit.

I Don’t Want To Be In A Band

xbostonisthereasonx claims this Have Heart shirt was only available at the last gig. That can’t be right though. I’m 99% certain this shirt was available through out the final tour. I’m 75% certain it wasn’t available at the last show AT ALL though. At least, I never saw it on the merch table. In fact, you can still buy most of the last show merch at the All In Merch site. Go ahead and pick up that limited edition tank while you are at it.

Have Heart “Friends Only” Merch

Here’s some sweet merch from the (second to) last Have Heart gig. These were handed out to the Have Heart crew before the Anchors Up show. Sadly, I missed that boat. I was probably outside talking to Bourbeau (an equally worthwhile endeavor though). Some of the crew started to ebay their shirts, so the seller (aka the shirt printer) has decided it’d be ok to unload a few leftovers.

Hey, ihateninjas, if you find one WITH sleeves in a large or medium, I’d gladly pay for one. This old man looks ridiculous in a tank top.

This tee dropped in October of 2009 at the last Have Heart gig. The line to buy one was fucking intense. Much like a line to use a portapotty at Locabazooka.

Then it immediately hit ebay and was selling for $35-$45. Pass.

Then it hit merchdirect and was selling for $18 shipped. Pass.

Now drewtilldeath1986 has one up and with less than 5 hours to go, it’s at $7.
