This is one freakin cool shirt rickyball is selling. It might be kind of sketchy to look at and real low budget but this is an original, screened by Danzig and purchased through the Fiend Club. Its just how I would want a punk shirt to look, nice and sloppy with an oversized print which is kind of weird for the early 80s. Considering it has less than a day left Im not sure why this isnt going for more, but shitty bootleg Misfits shirts have $250 BINs all over the place.

I’d like to thank my friend and business associate Mister Max G Morton for bringing this Misfits Fiend Club tee being sold by silverruins to my attention for this installment of You Can’t Afford It. This is a really cool tee, and the price isn’t anywhere near as out of control as the Minor Threat tee from our first installment (and there’s way higher to come, believe me), but it still falls into the “not without a fight they won’t pay that” category. And sadly, this seller doesn’t believe in the Make An Offer button…

Every early Danzig shirt is a banger and this one like the last is no exception. derangedinchaos has a vintage circa 1988 God Dont Like It shirt. I remember when these things would hit $300 every time a few years back, and for good reason . Everyone should have one of these in their collection. Its the kind of shirt you wear to Cracker Barrel on a sunday morning.

The other day I posted about the first Slayer shirt I ever saw. Well this is the first Danzig shirt I ever saw. I wont name names this time but I remember walking the halls of 7th grade and seeing someone wear this and thinking “What the fuck is that and why is it uncensored??” The dude wearing it was a skater and looked far less sketchy that my Slayer dude, but he was also known to wear Skrewdriver shirts and X up in school while doing acid after school. He became a friend of mine shortly after despite his fake edge, but 33 year old me wishes I had bro-ed down with Slayer dude more.

derangedinchaos has it up right now at a steal of a price.

The coolest Samhain shirt ever

This is one that might slip under some peoples radar. Its been printed and reprinted and bootlegged countless times. But lek_vintage has here an original Samhain Initium shirt. How can you tell you ask? Well the Screen Stars tag and the fact that its got only 2 colors of ink. The original shirts made by Plan 9/the band were like that. Why its in Thailand I have NO idea, but I would consider this a good deal if youre a Misfits/Samhain collector

Tees And Prices Both Good And Bad.

As Jaybil has noted several times prior this week, seller rossbeetrev’s auctions have been a pretty interesting mix. Some things have been good, some things have been bad, and the same applies to his start prices. This Dead Kennedys tee is actually legit this time, putting it in the former on the first category, but alas the start is so high that it hits the bad category there…

This Misfits tee has a low start, but even though Jay would like me to fart on it due to it being from Michael Graves era Misfits (aka not the Misfits), I kinda like it. Cool design, cool color scheme… I even like the Fiend Club back print. A win in both columns if you ask me, despite being from an era of the band that was far from a win…

And then there’s the 7 Seconds “Soulforce Revolution” tee. Both hideous AND started high. You know what I have to say about that, don’t you Jay?

I agree with Jay Bil about this Misfits boot: Sausage probably has a whole box of them stashed away. Where we disagree though is that I would rather have this one than the sleeveless version he posted the other day. You know, the one with the $89.99 price tag? No thanks, especially not when this one is a third of the price right now, and in great condition.

same seller –\.rossbeetrev but much cooler. I dont know much about Misfits shirts but it is on an old Screen Stars. This one has no sleeves left on it so I think Morgado should be foaming at the mouth. If the shirt is real I think its a very good look. I bet Dave Sausage has a whole box of these

burnseraph says this is an original Misfits shirt. I dont know if its real or not. On one hand its on a screen stars shirt. On the other hand its pretty fucking crispy. It almost looks like it was printed on some old deadstock shirt. I dont think Ive ever seen this particular design on a bootleg though. Then again I feel like Ive only seen original misfits shirts on white or black shirts. If it is a real Misfits shirt then I think that BIN is probably pretty good. I dont know dick about MisFits gear.
Also looking at the pics again. Is it just me or does that screen stars tag look a little weird??
