Im taking the selling of this shirt from trumbullmarket as a diss!
The first shirt I ever drew and it looks like shit. I had no idea what I was doing. I didnt pick the colors. I had less than a week to draw it all while going to school full time and working. It is the product of a rush job and a lack of experience. To make up for it I redid this shirt with an all new drawing for the Invasion reunion gig a couple years back and it was also a week long rush job but I think it came out a lot better. For what its worth I still love the first shirt just because of what it is, the time period it represents, and the friends I did it for :) The show that these were sold at was a pretty good gig too. Shirts and demos flew off the table. I love that pretty much all demos were a taped over tape with a lyric sheet attached by a rubber band!

Seller noxnever brings us a pair of Invasion tees from Posi Numbers 2002…

Awesome tees (he says modestly), and it was an awesome set. I have it on VHS somewhere. BTrust on bass, Dave Murphy singing Discriminate Me and falling all over the stage… such a great set. I do have two nits to pick with the sellers descriptions tho: 1. I drew the first one, and let me tell the seller: those are not knuckle dusters. They are rings. As in Five Golden Rings by Rest In Pieces, and inspired by the Love/Hate rings in Do The Right Thing. 2. The second tee is not strictly an Altercation mock. It was taken from this Side By Side/Altercation flyer featuring both the Altercation guy AND the Side By Side skinheads:

Seller born2expire84 has a whole bunch of cheap BIN’s up. Most are either just whatever or currently available from Shop Shogun, so the big score is definitely the $15 BIN on the Invasion Security tee from the “final” Floorpunch show.

Random LOC’ery.

A quick scan with the search function shows that seller xxxbostons has actually always made with the ill LOC gear auctions over the past year or so, so I actually may have been kind of wrong in my last post, when I said he wasn’t auctioning off every Mental shirt ever. It’s suddenly very likely that he actually HAD every Mental shirt ever, but over time has whittled it down to the mountain of Mentals from this morning. But Mental tees aren’t all he’s got up…

Strength Team.

Seeing this Invasion Strength Team tee makes me sad right now. I was doing shoulder presses at the gym on Thursday and as I was going up I heard a giant “POP” come from the vicinity of my right shoulder. And then there was pain. Needless to say, I was out of the gym the rest of the week. Thankfully after a couple days of icing it feels fine again, but I don’t like missing days. Not gonna look like this guy if you skip days, but then again, if you try to work out hurt you’re not gonna look like him either. You’re just gonna hurt something else. So it was for the best.

savagelacix631 is saving up for Sound And Fury (Buy your tickets NOW. Quit sleeping). That’s admirable. I’ll give him daps when I see him there. Hopefully he’s wearing that AF tee, or I may not recognize him, having never met the fellow.

As for this Invasion shirt. I’m going to talk to Joey and Ray. See if we can get the whole SAF crew rocking these all weekend. That’s a look of class. I mean, just look at that LOC. SHARP.

Another shirt to stroke Morgodo’s infalted ego ;)
or maybe not? Out of all the Invasion shirts I see on Ebay I think I see this one the most. This shirt was released at the same gig as another design with the Altercation rip off graphic. That Altercation shirt you never see. Maybe people dont want the morgodo shirt and thats why they are always changing hands? Or is it that people hate the other designs and turn them into rags leaving only Morgodos shirt floating around?!? Is martian_waltz a Morgodo fan or not?
