Little Tanks

Here’s another one for my smaller friends. These tanks all come from littleugur. Somehow, smaller dudes and girls can pull off a tank while bigger dudes look like goons. Seriously, have you ever seen Morgado in a tanktop? Ridiculous. Just ridiculous. And to top it off, these tanktops are on that limited tip. They all seemed to have been special releases for a Sound And Fury (pretty sure that’s where the I Rise tanktop came from. Positive that’s where the Trash Talk tank came from). Get into it. And grab your Sound And Fury 2011 tickets now. Don’t sleep.

A QVCC Gig

In my life, I’ve only ever booked one (solo) show. I booked a few when I was back at WPI, but that was with college money and a few friends. We booked some good ones, no doubt (Bane, Reach The Sky & Buried Alive. Word). But this one gig in 2007, I booked myself. And looking back on it, it was a chill fucking shows.

January 20, 2007 @ The QVCC Worcester Mass: Have Heart (I Rise), Cold World, Lion Of Judah, War Hungry, Step Forward

Come on, now that’s a pretty epic lineup. It was cold as hell that night, which seemed to keep a lot of kids away, but I had a blast. And there were definitely enough people up front during Cold World for Hoodrack to do this ill 5-6 step headwalk. It was monumental. Reminded me of that one headwalk AJ did for Bane at the Space. Good headwalks are hard to come by, really.

Looking back, I’m proud of that gig.

I Rise – Sunglasses Tanktop

Worcester hardcore, represent. I Rise has always struck a chord with me. I really dig their anti-typical sound. It’s out there, but I’m down for it. It also doesn’t hurt to know that those kids are genuine mother fuckers. They just get it and don’t have any rock star attitudes. I definitely spotted Alex moshing his ass off for Bane at This Is Hardcore. Rock stars would have been in the nice air conditioned band room talking to girls. Not Alex, he was dying of dehydration like the rest of us fans. I can back that attitude.
