In the last 6 months, we’ve seen a few of these Minority Unit “Friends Only” hats up on ebay. Seems weird, but whatever. I can’t recall exactly who posixforce is, but he’s selling this one. Maybe he needs christmas loot. He’s farting up the “no international shipping” rule though. Bad call.

Zack De La Rocha is the 12th singer of Minority Unit

I’m not sure how many singers Minority Unit has, but it’s a lot. Zack would surely fit in, right? Either way, you can pick up this RATM inspired Minority Unit shirt from tp1rym. It was obviously only sold at Sound And Fury 2011. But it’s not for me. Know why? No Xs. No mention of the phrase straight edge. Yeah. (plus, that $50 BIN seems … steep).

Lucky for all of us, barfight has the BOMB ass friends only Sound And Fury 2011 tshirt. He says it was limited to 15, but if Zack is the 12th singer, guitar player, drummer, bass, … barfight and me. My math doesn’t get 15 out of that … Just kidding, of course. 15 is a reasonable number on this one, but still sounds low. I want to thank a good friend for hooking me up with this one. Very stoked. Also, if you haven’t listened to the New Brigade demo yet, your really selling yourself short. Do it. Do it now. And then bid on this tee. Homie needs to pay his dog bills. Dogs rule. Dawgz too.

I’m sure there are many times Champ has felt the same exact thing as Pat Flynn and Milo. I can’t say I have myself, but I can say this rip is way cooler than when Fastbreak did it. Just a smidge more creative. Plus this one is rare as hell. Friends only, only about 15… yup.

Minority Unit Friends Only Hat Sucka!

One of the nice things about being an insomniac is that a lot of the time, I’m right there when someone in a different time zone ups a particularly in demand item. Fact is tho, I almost missed out on the heads up given to us about this Minority Unit friends only snap back (limited to 12- you can tell the difference from the ones sold at Sound and Fury from the black brim) being auctioned off to help pay for upcoming Soul Search touring plans. Thankfully, Breaking Bad came along and woke me right up with the most intense final five minutes of a show in recent memory. I mean, I pretty much yelled MICHA and moshed through a wall, it was that intense. So every body be sure to tweet AMC and thank them for us bringing this to you bright and early this Monday morning…

ENDING SOON: Free Spirit

aaronapps has a trio of shirts up from one of my favorite current bands. A good selection of their designs. I like the robber shirt myself. These are all ending in a couple hours so make sure you get those last minute bids. If you havent picked up their 7″(or downlooaded) what are you waiting for?!

Friends only tank top. I suspect this one will be getting some serious action. I believe they were only sold / given away at the Providence Club Hell gig back in April 2009. Bane, Have Heart, Free Spirit and Outrage. Solid gig. Expect this one to get a little nutty.

Minority Unit Friends Only Snapback

Here we go! The second piece of merch from Sound And Fury 2011. This one is a little more appropriate. itsxdead is selling it for (one of??) the singer of Minority Unit. It’s a friends only hat that was limited to 12. Funny story about this hat. I manned the table for most of Sound And Fury, but when Minority Unit hit the stage, I knew I needed to watch and watch closely. Love this band. Great attitude, great vibe, great songs. Solid package. And in southern California, the crew was there to represent. It was one of my favorite sets of the weekend, no doubt. What took it over the top was the friends only tshirt. Every dude in the crew was wearing the black pocket print tee with “The Straight Edge” on the back. Simple tee, so fucking dope. During the set, it was basically a sea of people in this shirt stage diving, rocking the mic and moshing. I HAD to have one. After the set, and the panic that ensued during their merch table set up, Rudy came by and hit me up. He thanked me for shouting out Minority Unit all the time, and asked if I wanted some of the friends only merch. You know my jaw dropped and I barely squeaked out a “hell fucking yes!” An hour later, he stopped by the table again and handed me a snapback. The snapback you see below. They were even more rare than the tees, so I’m told. I was humble, but still dreamt about the tee. Fast forward 2 days, and I’m talking to Joey from 6131 Records. Turns out, he got a shirt but really wanted the hat. You know what happened next. Crucial trade. And everyone went home super fucking happy.

On a side note. Shout outs to Rudy, Guzman, Enrique and everyone else in the Minority Unit crew. It was great to finally meet you all. Keep The Faith!

Iron Boots Crew.

Another rare item up for sale from icegrillz05. I would have posted it yesterday, but I felt like the Stop and Think tank top kind of took the cake for the day, so much so that it even overshadowed the Mental 1-25-03 tee and FP band only color way that got posted later on (tho the FP tee has since been pulled)…

I don’t think anyone is gonna go as batshit over this one as the white Justice crewneck from awhile back, but this is still a great piece of Iron Boots merch. Love the WarZone bullet hole lp album font.

Lockin Out – Friends Only Hood??

I don’t recall things like ryancali215 recalls things. He claims this is a “friends only” Lockin Out hoodie. I don’t remember that. I know that not many were made, but I don’t recall it being a friends only deal. I’ll ask Greg from Lockin Out Records, and we’ll get to the bottom of this.

Update: Greg says, “Nah I think I sold them on our last tour with Blacklisted and Iron Age.” Which was independently backed up by Rick below. Word.

Have Heart Crew – One Off

I love a solid one off tee. You know, those shirts you convince the printer to screen up for you and maybe one for your friend. When HYE was printing up Bold JTF shirts, we definitely did this. I got a green one. Very chill. ihateninjas has done the same thing with the excellentHave Heart Crew tshirt. They did 50 tees, 50 tanks, one red longsleeve, one black longsleeve and a hood. That’s pretty cool. Granted, I know the seller. Didn’t realize he was a small longsleeve type. That’s a freaking small shirt. Make sure to check out the other auctions for about 1 million other Have Heart tees.
