I’m sure illuminaughtyclothing is a very nice lady (if that’s her in the photo, and if it’s not her, we have other issues), but this doesn’t seem like the best way to sell a 7 Seconds DIY tailored tee.

Misfits Trick Not Treat

Over the last 15 years, The Misfits have done plenty to tarnish their legacy. That doesn’t stop me from enjoying anything released in the 80s, heck no. Love it, but over the last decade, it’s gone from glam to gloom. Their merch is pretty suspect. But what gypsy*rags has done to these tees brings it one notch lower. Lets just say it, ” side panels using some beautiful black n grey floral stretchy fabric.” Wow. Do not want. And before you say, “but she’s soooo hot …,” just know ebay can do better (nsfw).

Type O Nooooooooo!

Not sure what gypsy*rags was thinking when doing up this diy tank. How many Type O Negative are looking for “sexy tees?” My guess, not many. But hey, I could be wrong. If you are looking for a “beautiful n sexy” tee, this one’s for you. Symphony For The Devil. Sigh.

High School Shop Class and DIY Tees

When I was in high school, the cool thing to do in shop class was to print your own tees. Duh. Rather than make a bird house or a wack lantern, dudes were pumping out tshirts. One of my friends was gifted. He had the design touch and would go all out. His best design was a 4 sided Mighty Mighty Bosstones longsleeve. It was beautiful. It had the bulldog with the band logo on the front, a dude parachuting on the back and “Mighty Mighty” down each sleeve. White shirt with red ink. It was seriously awesome. meneguar had a friend who must have been in a similar situation with a similar gift. She came up with this Braid shirt. That’s a quality looking shirt, no doubt. I support shirts like this over bootlegs anyday. You know she printed up 4, maybe 5 and gave them to her friends who probably ALL love Braid. That’s a fan, you know? I can dig it.

Strappy Minor Threat

I know I said I would stop talking about ladies hardcore merch (you’d think I had some sort of … issue), but I stumbled across this one and had to point it out. I love Minor Threat. I love ladies. I love ladies in Minor Threat tees. But this one? This one isn’t a mad*foxes tee. This one feels more like a Hot Topic tee. The front is great. You can’t eff with Alex, you know? But the lace up back? That just smacks of giant pants with zipper and a million ridiculous suspenders. I’ll give jkairit1 and A for effort. Ladies, am I wrong here?

The Circle TRULY Completes

Casali and Guav were talking earlier about the circle completing. They were wrong, after this shirt from mad*foxes, the cycle is NOW complete. I don’t know this seller, but one day, I’d like to shake her hand. Without her, TTD would not be the same.

Ain’t nothing minor about it! We fully suport mad*foxes and her tees. I was never sure if girls were into these tees, but I just asked a few, and they said they were cool. One girl said she would only wear the tee if it was non-obvious core shirt. I can see that.

WTF? Raymond Pettibon

I like a good DIY project as much as the next guy. I’m assuming mazzo29 is that next guy based on this tshirt. Not sure how or why he chose this particular piece of Raymond Pettibon art to put on a tee, but I’m sort of glad he did. Elvis is an unsung hero.** Black Flag art would be cooler, but hey DIY beggars can’t be DIY choosers.

DIY Hardcore Hood

I can appreciate some DIY skills.

Nothing wrong with trying to fix your own sink or paint your own wall. Nothing wrong with fixing your own bike or putting together your own complete deck.

But this hood? It’s a little out there for my liking. Granted, it isn’t covered in crusty patches. I’ll give it that much.

AFI, WARZONE, SHUTDOWN, STRAIGHTFACED

Out of the 4 bands, I only truly support one. And another doesn’t offend me, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to promote them.
