Saturday morning BINs

First up in this edition of Saturday morning Buy It Nows from copiousamounts is this original gem from Connecticut’s Crucial Kick Boxers. The price looks to be pretty on point with what the last few sold for. I don’t see a size listed, but I am going to assume it’s an XL. Seems right.

Maybe something a little rarer is on your agenda. You should have no problem being the only one you know to have an Active Response shirt. Dudes love shirts from obscure bands, and these guys had a track on the Open Your Eyes tape comp #1. I have no idea if they did anything else.

Last but not least is this Indecision 1998 tour shirt. I haven’t seen this design before, but I am from from an Indecision shirt expert. THe price seems reasonable if Indecision is your thing, and I feel that it might be.

Cornerstone shirt

Oh xjjacobyx, do you know what I will say about this shirt? I will say that I wish I had bought one back in the day. They never seem to go very high in price, and hopefully this will be no exception. Look at that back graphic. How could you not like this? Pull on your JNCOS and strap on your beaded necklace friends, it’s time for some crucial kick boxing.

Mets vs Red Sox. In CT.

So, earlier today I said that I didn’t like posting Wrong Side merch unless I did the art or had a story. Well, ruffryderz1023 has one more TWS shirt ending today, and I figured what the hell, we didn’t make a lot of these, why not.

What isn’t mentioned in the description is that this is a Cornerstone rip off. Hopefully most of you knew that already. As is always the case with design ideas I have that require computer work, I turned to my man Jay Reason to help work out the mechanics, but unfortunately he couldn’t quite match the font, so it’s slightly off from the original. Why a Cornerstone rip off? Well, a. they were awesome, duh, and b. we were playing a fest in CT, duh.

As One Fest 2008. We were 24 hours away from having it be an OG line up, but alas Dookie could only play on Saturday and we were scheduled for Sunday. Biggie bum out there, but Cooch did a solid job filling in. If I had my druthers we would have opened with Connecticut Crucial Kickbox, but that was not to be. We did the shirts in 2 color schemes: Mets and Red Sox. The Mets ones were sold only at the fest, but the Red Sox version is still available from the good folks at Shop Shogun, so if you want one, go grab one. But if you want the Mets colorway? You have only a few hours before this one ends.

Cornerstone

When I think of Cornerstone, I think of Fastbreaks older brother. But that’s my generation. Older heads probably think about a youth crew band that kept the spirit alive in Connecticut post Wide Awake / Up Front. Younger kids … well, younger kids are probably just scratching their heads. They’ve probably never even heard Beating The Masses. Which is unfortunate. I’d wager most would recognize the cover art. Sadly, I feel like I see this gatefold lp in most record bins I dig through.

As for the hood, I’d also guess this one has Lost & Found written all over it. I know, no wizard sleeves, but the color and font bear a striking resemblance to that split EP with Unit Pride.

Or is that just me? Any Lost & Found “fans” want to clue me on this one? Or Toby, if you are out there, fill us in.
