Champion Is Not In This Alone BIN

It’s no secret that Champion was a fan of the early Rev bands. Listen to their records and you’ll hear the influence. It’s also no surprise that they would do a special record release cover for one of their 7 inches, doing their take on the “We’re Not In This Alone” cover with the accompanying tee. frankenstache has this one listed as black but describes it as “wash-faded”…we know that means “concert gray”. I kinda wish they would have made the “No” symbol on the front in red like the original.

Count Our Numbers, Count Our Hearts

When it comes to Champion, for me, nothing beats “Promises Kept”. Not a bad song on that record, solid from start to finish. I like their early material as well but that was the record for me. siviterism7 is taking it back a little bit with this “Count Our Numbers” Champion shirt. Little bit of cracking in the print but overall, looks good. Looking back, it blows my mind that as active as the band was, I never saw them live. There was always something conflicting that kept me from seeing them. Great band.

Blacklisted mesh shorts – Attn: Bob Wilson

I think fightback missed the boat on the meshed shorts craze. I think the only people who still wear them to shows are girls with ponytails who make an embarassing scene when they mosh.
These Blacklisted shorts are pre-my time in the band, from the Cali tour with Cold World in 2005. I think it was the only time BL made shorts? I know we never made any after mid 2006 thats for sure.

Champion First Shirt

xx43xx is selling the first Champion shirt. It looks like it wasn’t worn much and appears to be in great shape. He says this design was reprinted with a back design but this one is one sided. Great design from one of the best straight edge bands of the 2000s.

Live The Life That I Know Is Right For Me, Drug Free

xchasedgex has a great longsleeve from Champion that was mass produced when the band was active and touring. I always loved when bands we’re vocal about being straight edge and this shirt was a great representation of what the band stood for. I owned this at one point but sold it because it was just too small for me. Still a great look.

CHAMPION Sweat Pants Seattle’s Best

I know its a little warm for sweats but hey if they are cheap enough why not. similartoonepulpo is getting rid of his. He claims that it is well worn but still has pleanty of life. That simply put is code for you can still rip a lot of good farts in these pants. I’m not sure about you but I like to wear my sweat pants with no underwear its just more comfortable. I’m not sure if I would buy a pair of used ones. You never know if the seller had his boys knocking around in there. I know you can wash it but still. I’ll tell you what don’t buy any sweat pants from me. You already know what you’re in for.

Sweatshorts. Opinions Wanted.

Lets review.

1) I love sweatpants
2) Sweatpants are too hot to wear in the summer
3) I love Dead End Path. Solid dudes, great band.
4) DEP merch rules
5) Anthrax made the greatest sweatshorts of all times

Reviewing those 5 points, you’d think it’d be a no brainer for me to jump on this DEP sweatshorts BIN. I mean, it’s just $20, plus shipping. That’s not too bad, right? Seems reasonable. But sweatshorts. Can I hang? I don’t know. Mesh shorts are a serious no brainer, sweatpants are automatic buy. But sweatshorts, these are a different beast for me.

I need your opinion here. Do or do not want??

Starting today, I’m also going to make a point to start tracking down shirts on the other end of the spectrum. Not sure which of our readers wear such small shirts (minus Lynn). Over the years, I’ve given Aram (psssst, check his auctions too) plenty of shit for having a shirt that said “Drug Free.” He’s pretty good natured about it. Straight Or Bust, that’s my motto. Drug Free is something for Moms or people who chose not to drink. That’s fine. That’s their prerogative. Straight Edge is different AND more than just not drinking. That’s what I’m saying. Having XXX pocket print AND sleeve print is a win in my book. Very nice.

PS. Thanks for the shout out Chip, but everyone knows that navy shirts are bogus.
