Breakdown Plus Minus

You don’t see Breakdown shirts on eBay a ton so I was happy to come across this. Seller sleepingdoughnut got this one himself in the late 90s in NJ while they were playing shows for Plus Minus. This one looks pretty worn and loved, but its not beat or anything.

Braakdown Hat

There is a lot going on here. First of all seller sloppysecondsvintage claims someone told him that this is Breakdown nyhc item. That may well be, but the fact that this hat says BRAAKDOWN should be a tip off that this is just a silly weird hat that someone picked up at a flea market because some foreign land misspelled Breakdown. Why someone wanted to put Breakdown on a beanie is beyond me. What a weirdo auction.

Stick Together Tees.

Whoops, I kind of slept on this hunter camo Stick Together tee being auctioned off by lindseyiamx… sorry about that. Looks like it’s doing ok even without our taking notice anyways.

She also has another Stick Together tee up, this one the one with the Back to Back Records Breakdown guys logo on the back. ST logo on front. Doing just as well as the other.

Streetfight.

This is actually my first time seeing this Breakdown shirt, courtesy of taylorkc, and I’m guessing it’s a pretty recent design…

Two things stick out that rule almost immediately: the Big Mac pocket print, and the nun smashing someone in the face with knuckle dusters on the back. Ill. Also for sale is this Causin’ Mad Trouble in ’88 reprint…

…though as I pointed out a week or so ago, not only has Shop Shogun reprinted these, they’ve also given you the option of getting them as a ringer tee. Super ill, I can’t wait for mine to get here.

You Have Our Attention

My co-worker has a saying, some people only learn by blunt force trauma. In most cases, this means you have to tell someone something so often you end up punching their brains in with your words. At least, that’s how I interpret it. Who knows. He was in the army. His interpretation is probably much less subtle. localsonly! uses a similar concept to grab the attention of TTD. In his 50 auctions, he calls out EVERY pet peeve we collectively have.

1. This Cruel Hand sweatshirt is not navy despite appearing that way, but rather Hunter Green. Would TTD approve? I say yes. Hunter green is a great color. I know Casali would back this up. Plus, Jeff Hunter is a solid dude.

2. Shoddy cell phone pics. I apologize to Tee Till Death for the poor cell phone pics. It’s not us he should be apologizing to, but rather Jeff Perlin and Co.

3. Bulldogs. But in this case, no bulldog. Great little Integrity tee, too.

4. Navy tee hatred, but a free pass for a Bane tee. True story. However, I would suggest you buy this brand new from our friend Sam at Triple B Records. Grab the Free Spirit AHC tee while you are at it.

He doesn’t mention TTD in this one, but fuck, great Black Sabbath reference in this Cruel Hand tee.

If you wanted our attention, you got it. Lucky for you buyers, all of these items are still cheap. Time to scoop for a deal.

Is this Backtrack tee intended to be a Breakdown nod? I’d guess yes. The font seems very appropriate. Know what I’m saying? You think Backtrack covers Breakdown but sing about Whopper Juniors instead of Big Macs? Jeez, xdeathtoallx has some excellent items from the last few years, all with super low bids or no bids. I think I’ll be scooping up some cheap items.
