This is one more Bad Brains shirt that I do not own. Im usually not one for a home tye dye job but smkcak did it right! With the focus being on the front pocket logo this shirt looks fresh! Now Im not sure if this was an old concert or not but Im thinking it is a We Bite records made tee? Since they are the label that did put out a BB records called “attitude” with the same logo. Either way its a fresh shirt and a nice alternative that to either lion logo or the capital building logo that seem to make up about 98% of BB shirts.

This is one of the few Bad Brains shirt I do not have:( I like this design only medium so I never went hard after it. Looking at it right now though its looking pretty fly. I think the back design could use a little sprucing up but whatever its a Bad Brains shirt so fuck it. If the price on this shirt from Slavako stays low I just might have to take a chance on it. Although I did find myself wearing Bad Brains shirts much less starting a couple years ago when the whole “hip” scene got Bad Brains fever and there was a ton of half assed shirts and accessories made by like Vans and Supreme. I havent seen much of it now so I might have to dip back into my stockpile this summer;)

I was a little worried when I clicked and saw that seller asfissia88′s location was Italy, home of the bootlegs, but the plethora of detailed pictures of this pair of 80s Bad Brains tour tees quickly washed away my fears.

Ending in less than 24 hours is this Bad Brains 1987 tour shirt from blackrebelvintage. As of writing it only has one bid. On the bad side, this auction will rob you of the opportunity to tailor a giant shirt into a tiny size one.

Unlike the XXL jawn from the other day, this here’s a Bad Brains tee I’m more inclined to get down with, courtesy of this weeks seller du jour cultzero: a 1989 Quickness tour tee, size XL. Which means it’s somewhere slightly above a Medium in modern terms. In other words: my perfect fit.

Hunting Rod

Cultzero has a nice little gem up for us. Its not often you see a HR shirt up. Or maybe im just not looking for them? That first HR record – Its about Luv gets some regular play from me. Im into it. Now on to this shirt. Is it just me or does this look like an old Stussy shirt? Just switch out the font for the Shawn Stussy font and youd have an early 90s classic.

Bad Brains XXL?

The “You gonna get yours!” on the back would be the highlight of an otherwise generic Bad Brains tee being auctioned by axtion-henk, except I’m kind of mind blown by the size. For some strange reason, I didn’t think hardcore merch existed in XXL before like 1995, yet here’s one from 1991! Then again, like the auction says, a 1991 XXL very likely is just a modern XL. So maybe not that weird? You’re gonna have to win it and let us know how it fits.

Just Another Damn Autographed Shirt

Most of the time, autographed tees feel pretty corny. How many Bon Jovi autographed Tour 89 tees does a person need (yeah, I have one, that’s right!)? Pretty corny look. But this one from 1939yanks feels a little different. Maybe that’s because it’s autographed by the members of the Bad Brains. Straight out of 1996, mostly kept in a sealed bag. Shirt looks minty, and was a promo item for the Black Dots album. Not bad. Dr. Know, Darryl Jennifer, HR, and Earl Hudson. Pretty chill.

rossbeetrev loved this shirt and wore the hell out of it. I think that amount of fading is a hot look. Wearing it to the point of making holes like that, not such a hot look. I have a few variations of this tee. Always a crowd favorite. Itll be interesting to see if anyone takes him up on that starting bid or not.
