FOUNDATION ATL SXE UB

Most of you know that I usually post Soundgarden shirts. But I’m actually a bigger fan of the core. Foundation is one of those bands on my radar. I can’t wait for that new LP to drop. Murphy is lucky he gets to go to UB this weekend and enjoy the music and the merch. I had to stay and work at the fucking bank. That’s what you get when you wear a tie. I’ll bet xrobertrizzox does not wear a tie when he could wear this ATL represent shirt. I’m sure Foundation will kill it this weekend.

A Good Example

Remember that Have Heart Pave Paradise shirt I blogged about weeks ago? I mentioned it looked pretty damn similar to a Foundation shirt, but at the time, couldn’t find a pic. Well, seller cgiveupthecodyx has remedied that issue by selling one on ebay. Check it. No idea if this tee has the eightfold path back print. If you win it, let me know.

Foundation says, “Listen To Chokehold”

A few weeks (months?) back, Champ emailed me asking for a pic of some old Chokehold tee. Sadly, I didn’t have a High Res version, but was intensely intrigued by why he wanted one. He told me his band, Foundation was going to be doing some Chokehold rip-off tees.

You can see why I would be intrigued! Who doesn’t like Chokehold?

He found the pics he wanted, and I heard they screened up some tees. Never saw them until today.

Not bad, not bad at all. Good use of sleeve print.

Now the seller says “only 10 were made up.” I’m calling BS on that one. If you know differently, speak up. I’m sure it’s limited, but only 10? Unlikely.

Foundation Heartless

I’m a big fan of Foundation.

Straight out of ATL, once passing under the radar, they really seem to be getting their shine lately. Good for them.

I’m also a big fan of not obnoxious shirts.

This is one of those not obnoxious shirts. It’s a real simple design with a great color scheme. Grey tee, purple ink. That’s just ONE color ink. No sharks with lasers, thousands of nickels stacked on top of fairy princesses or dinosaurs eating ice cream cones. Just some crooked-like font and a plain picture. Would be better if it was a live shot with some X’ed up bros, but hey, I’ll take what I can get.
