Foundation: The Bane Completist

As you know, I’m a Bane completist. It’s what I do. Keeps me off the streets, out of gang warfare, off the crack … Sure, all of those things. So here’s the question. Does this Foundation shirt from stagedive5 count as an essential piece of Bane merch? These were printed up for the 2009 Bane/Foundation tour. I don’t recall seeing these shirts on sale at the time, or I surely would have bought one. And I saw these two play a few times on that tour. AT the ICC with Suicide File and Alpha & Omega. Then in September at Valentine’s in Albany, and of course, at the Edge Day gig. So to the other Bane completists out there, does this shirt make your list?

WTF? I’m A Fucking Slob

Ok, I realize that the Acacia Strain isn’t hardcore or punk (not in my book, at least). But they have the association. And when bands make shirts like this, all I can do is scratch my head and say, “WTF?” Also, WTF was gblairkemp thinking when he bought this item? Hopefully, it was one of those we’re-playing-the-same-gig-have-a-free-tanktop shirt. Lets hope.

Festival De Sonido Y Furia

Festival season is back in full swing. You know what that means! Festival merch galore! But also, festival secrets, leaks and announcements. I’m sure you didn’t miss the big one from Sound And Fury Fest, did you? This year is going to be even bigger and badass than last year. We’re pretty psyched. Pretty sure Casali is booking those tickets for us as I type this. Hot. To relive those memories of years past, grab this Rotting Out shirt from timxxterror. My spanish is rusty so if someone could translate the back for me, that’d be great.

Rancor 2009

If you were lucky enough to attend the Youngblood Fest in 2009, you got the chance to witness a little Rancor reunion. If you were even luckier, you grew up in Pennsylvania in the mid 90s and got to see all their gigs. Chances of that? Small. Chances of you attending the 2009 reunion gig? Greater. This shirt came from that gig. disciplinex is selling it. Thank god he doesn’t have the navy blue one. Hopefully that dude who loves PA hardcore post doesn’t think I’m blowing up this one too (did you win that tshirt or what, dude?).

ps. Good luck finding Rancor (band) hits on ebay. It’s nearly impossible to wade through all the Star Wars stuff.

Champion Shorts, Bane And Tall Tales

I am a fan of both Bane and Champion Shorts. Big fan of both. But I would never say these are my favorite pair of Champion shorts. Like Jonny Cen, my favorite pair of Champion shorts are the Stop And Think ones, of course. The thing about these shorts? I swear This Is Hell had the same exact pair. Like, same color shorts, same color ink. Did I dream that? Maybe it’s one of the tall tales. The other tall tale is xformex saying he thinks “they only made 25 pairs.” Doubt that is right. I helped sell a lot of these over a few different gigs. Mostly during the summer of 2009, but I ended up taking a pair home in September of 2009. I can’t imagine 25 pairs of shorts would last across a whole summer tour (euro summer tour??).

Have Heart – Deja Vu

This Have Heart tanktop has me tripping. Why? Well, let’s see. First off, ihateninjas just sold one on ebay earlier this week. I’m guessing this seller saw that end price, and wanted in on that action … Second, they didn’t flip their pic. I did. That’s my good turn for the day. I hate mirror pics. Preview isn’t a difficult tool. It has a “flip horizontal” and “flip vertical” menu item. Easy. And lastly, the seller’s name is bostonhardcore. Pretty cool. EXCEPT they live in Arkansas. WTF?

Ive never seen this shirt before but I love it. This has to be one of the greater Concert era Hatebreed shirts!! I will be on the hunt for this in the future in my size. This thing is great!

“This is a shirt that my son bought at the Hatebreed show in 2009. He wore it during the concert and never again. I washed it so I cant say it is new, but it was only worn for one show. He overpaid for it at the show and said he doesn’t want it because he paid so much that it gives him a bad feeling and ruined the memory.”

All the other stuff she is selling are of shit her son doesnt want anymore. Some of it is brand new. What an ungrateful dick.

Power Trip

Power Trip. I happened to miss this band at the Great American Hardcore Fest. I wish I had not missed them. This shirt from liltaryn103 is a good one. Straight from the fest. Seems like a band I should get into. I’ll listen to their myspace mp3s and report back.
