A Goodbye And A Hello.

A nice pairing here from mehkagont305: A tee from Sheer Terror’s “last” shows at CBGB’s back in ’03, and a tee from Absolution’s reunion shows from 2008. I was at all of these (well, not the Miami Absolution show, but I went to both Sheer Terror shows and Wrong Side gigged the NYC reunion), and I’m hard pressed to tell you which one was the better show. All 3 were just awesome.

AP

Im not even going to post the 2nd photo. Youre gonna have to click on the photo and go to the auction if you wanna see that. warning NSFW

Gorilla … Huuuuuuhhhhh

Yesterday, Morgado gave us the pixelated GB tee. Today, I present, a Euro tour longsleeve. Now truly, this Gorilla Biscuits shirt isn’t heinous, but something feels off. You know what I’m thinking? I’m thinking it’s screened BACKWARDS. The giant GB head should be on the front, the text should be on the back. The “hardcore” sleeve could be … just left off. I originally thought it was a Euro tour shirt, as I’ve never seen one anywhere before. But no, this one came from Liskfest in 2008. That’s where hansolo562 bought it, at least. Could they have sold all of them at that gig? Perhaps. Liskfest 2.0 looks like it could be cool … Anyone rolling?

National Edge Day 2008

We love sellers that post up great stories along with their auctions. southparktvma is one of those sellers. Here’s the story.

I got this shirt (size MEDIUM) at Edge Day 08 in Haverhill. The line up was Free Spirit, No Tolerance, Waste Management, Blank Stare, Rampage, Step Forward, Alone in A Crowd (aka HXH) and Have Heart. Everyone was complaining that there weren’t big name bands on the show for 08, and then right after everyone THREW THEMSELVES on the Free Spirit and No Tolerance band wagon. I remember I walked into the gig, paid, and then was greeted by either AJ or Greg (I forget). (Ed. Note: It was Jason Barrow) He asked me what size shirt I was. Caught off guard, I thought he was trying to buy my What Feeds the Fire shirt off my back (shout out to Sean and Rich. I put out their new band Mouth of Flower’s 7″) but he was actually giving away I Floorpunch logo FP shirts. What a great gesture. I give a ton of free stuff away when I do my record label. It’s a good feeling. I’m sure handing out these shirts to X’ed up kids was a good feeling as well.

Also, southparktvma is a stand up dude. That last part about his label and giveaways is 1000% true. We did a test press giveaway with him a few weeks back, and he ended up sending us the test press, plus two other presses of the EP AND two other EPs (look forward to another VNZ giveaway soon). Once again, shout outs to Barrow too. Solid move giving away these shirts. Super positive.

Cold World – Plan Ahead

Here’s a solid Cold World BIN for all your smaller folks. This one is a size small and came from United Blood in 2008. Here’s the thing. I bet if you won this shirt, you could get totesjessica to give it to you at United Blood 2011. She’s from Virginia Beach so chances are, she’ll be at the gig. All said in done, that’s an AWESOME cheap shirt.

Speaking of Cold World, did you order your Sean Price x Cold World 12″ EP yet? If you haven’t, what are you waiting for? Bangin.

Get Your LOC Jock On!**

I think at this point in hardcore history, the LOC has become a world wide recognized symbol. And not only is it recognized, but it’s also coveted and desired. Shirts featuring this icon are highly prized and well regarded. This is telling of the infamy of Lockin Out Records. Go ahead and grab one of these items from xourlastregretx. You won’t regret your choice. Plus, he has plenty of other merch for big dudes. Then head over to Lockin Out and pick up a few releases.

Terror – Relentless

Everyone knows and loves the Keepers Of The Faith crewneck, tshirt, hooded sweatshirt and windbreaker. Especially the windbreaker (and varsity style jacket). That’s because they are classic items. But before KOTF dropped, Terror had plenty of excellent merch. It sounds ridiculous to type, but I tell you, it’s true. Take this Relentless windbreaker from our friend Kitzel of Reaper Records. This one dropped in 2008, around the time of The Damned, The Shamed. Hard style. Love the hood strings.

LOC 08.

Apparently I was asleep in 2008 when Greg made up this LOC tee that taylorkc is selling, because I don’t remember it at all. And you’d think I would, what with the chain on the back. I mean, I think I put a chain in almost every LOC flyer I did at the height of things.

Trapped Under Ice – United Blood 2008

Trapped Under Ice rocked United Blood 2008. I wasn’t there, but we can view the videos and know that for truth. Peep this grainy one for proof.

I wasn’t at the gig either, but if I grab this tshirt from ape-tar, I can pretend I was there. This year’s United Blood Fest is coming up. We’re trying to line some stuff up now for that fest. We’ll let you know, and hope to see you there.

I [moshman] Floorpunch

This is a great one. Straight out of 2008, courtesy of Mr. Jason Barrow. He screened up a slew of these Floorpunch tees for Edge Day. He then GAVE them out to any kid who was Xed up. How about that? That’s fucking positive. And now, buymy$hit88 is selling it. Sort of weak. Especially with that BIN price. You decide. Great shirt, regardless. Great gig too.
