Maybe you like this one Insted

Ok no more puns from me. Ill that to the professionals from here on out. When I look at this shirt Im not a big fan of it at all. It just looks meh to me. But I feel like this is the kind of shirt that will age well like a fine wine. I bet with repeated wearings and washings this shirtt will look awesome in 10 years when it has turned all thin and concert grey. I have never seen Insted but I dont feel like I have any interest in seeing present day Insted. But thats because im too old and grumpy. I should actually be listening to more Insted and get my PMA back up to youth levels. While youre bidding on this one from marfeline im gonna go rip my Insted cd onto my computer.

Bane Lot: 2003-2005

chevy_independent has a nice little snapshot of the mid 2Ks. During this time period, Bane was a touring machine. They were everywhere. Full US tours, Europe, Japan, … all over the place. Then they hit the studio to record The Note. Busy times, for sure. 6 tshirts and 2 hoods. Not bad. Someone popped the opening bid of $50, but that F*CK YEAH hood usually sells for quite a bit on its own. I’m real curious to see where this one ends. I won’t fight you for this one – I already own one of each of those ;)

Ringworm. Seriously, what more needs to be said? That first LP was mind blowing. You knew you were in for hell from the jump off. The rest of the album was equally hard. Not very mom or Christian friendly though. Same goes for the tee from burningfight. He says it’s from 1995. Is it hunter green? No idea.

Fast forward 10 years, and they were still banging them out. As you can see from this longsleeve from markt4livet. Justice Replaced By Revenge. Evil, yo, evil.

Something hot going on there. Much like this shirt from cut_down. He should know, he screened this Righteous Jams up in these colors on purpose. A little shout out to old school Celtics tees. “Made these in california at the end of the RJ / MENTAL / RNR tour 2005/06 that was crazy. Every show was like a mini fest, except New Mexico where there were 13 people – one of the funniest gigs. Made these to look like old celtics shirts from the 80s in green and gray, the green is a little off in the pic but I think the shirt does the design well. Not many of these, maybe 60 tops.” So good.

Here’s the thing. Our good friend cut_down has done you dirty with his description. While it’s a very factual description of the shirt and the gig it was sold out, he fails to mention one MAJOR detail that is integral to the design. “The Final Bite?” Why, that’d be making an awesome Floorpunch Final Mosh rip off tee for their last gig. Yeah, I know Bob was in the pit for both of those final gigs. How failed to mention it is almost unforgivable. But I’ll forgive him anyway. Stellar dude. He’s got a lot of auctions up, so check em.

Ah, Planet Mental. I wasn’t there. I was climbing a mountain. Good mountain. Bad timing though. Not sure if flatxtop was there. I think he was. Good dude. Known him for years. Thank god he cut his hair. For a while, he had the limited Mental merch market cornered. I know he’s still got that white crew hood … Grab this planet mental record release tee. Not many made. Solid graphic work from Greg Lockin Out. Good looks.

Orange You Glad I Didn’t Make A Judge Pun?

I love a good Judge shirt. Who doesn’t? But seeing Rev sell the same old NY Crew design in white on black and yellow on navy for all of my teenage years got old fast. That’s why I thought it was super cool when, years later, Rev put out this blue on orange version (somewhat less cool though was that they were limited to 100). I’m pretty into orange tees in general (as Murphy has noted in the past, the Free Spirit tee I choose to rock is that color), but blue on orange especially is a colorway that I love (the Righteous Jams Def Jam rip off also used it, tho Greg from Mental is the only person I ever saw with one). Maybe it’s the fact that I grew up in an orange house, I dunno, don’t judge me.

Bracewar Sweat Pants (Very Rare)

Something about the title of this auction cracks me up. Obviously, iceman489969 is new to ebay. He uses NO key words, barely gives a size, doesn’t explain what is so rare about these Bracewar sweatpants. Just lets you know (Very Rare). Silly, just silly. I’m guessing these aren’t really super rare, and probably not rare enough to warrant a $35 jump off point. Head over to allinmerch and demand a reprint.

If you want actual rare, go ahead and grab this Bracewar demo tape from matthave. He even makes a funny in his description. I like.

Insted Euro Tour shirt

Ive never seen this shirt from seller carpo90 but then again I didnt know that Insted toured Euro in 2005. Pretty nice looking shirt though. Am I the only one who thinks Insted shirts should be white. The black is kinda throwing me off. US buyers watch those shipping costs before bidding. Weak Dollar is a total bitch.
