Except for the part where this shirt says “Leeway” on it I think I hate everything about this shirt. This thing is terrible. It looks like some kind of early 90s streetwear graphic that you might find on like a Fresh Jive or Jncos brand shirt. And its doo doo brown. That color might be the coolest thing about it and that isnt saying much. In true stereotypical Euro fashion deathofyourworld decided to fuck-up tailor the shirt to a size small. What happened in Europe that made everyone ruin shirts?!?

Bane 1999 – Can You Do Any Less?
Here’s a great time capsule from 1999. Three great Bane tshirts. I am a fan, and you know this. Time to geek out.
Bane Canadian tour 1999. This one was hard to pick up. I didn’t tour Canada and it was a pretty big tour as I recall. Comeback Kid or maybe Good Clean Fun? This was also one of the only white shirts Bane ever did. In the last few years, they’ve done a few white tees.

Bane Fall tour 1999. Note the last day of this tour. One of the best gigs Earth ever witnessed.

Bane Mr Sparkle, Can You Do Any Less? This was a hot ticket for years. Kids loved this one. These were mostly sold on the Adamantium / Death By Stereo tour. Solid. There is a yellow one out there. I’ve been working on the owner for years, of course.

Funny thing about xcoldxdeadxhandsx. Back when you could see the names of the other bidders or just the high bidders, I remember seeing this dude outbid me ALL the time on Bane gear. So many bidding wars with this dude.
Floorpunch | 99
There was some talk last night about the SBS shirt being navy. I discredit that. Like most “concert grey” tees, this one appears “concert navy blue.” Closer to black than navy blue. I can hang. However, I cannot hang with this Floorpunch navy blue longsleeve. And that kills me, because this 99 tour longsleeve is fucking dope. I feel like most of these were sold in Europe. Anyone got that red longsleeve? I want.
Check out the rest of 13daysaweek’s auctions. He’s got gems.

Buried Alive Summer Tour 1999
I’m a big fan of this Buried Alive tshirt being sold by michael_moz. The sleeve print is what really sets it off. Love a great shirt with a date, even if it’s navy. It isn’t over dated either. Some shirts have every tour spot listed on the sleeve. Bad move. Just add the tour and date. Solid look. “This page needs more Vogelisms.” The Death Of Your Perfect World.

In My Eyes
When it comes to “Quality over Quantity,” not many bands did it better than In My Eyes. They had a solid streak going. I’d guess they did 22-27 designs in their 4 year run, and hardly any were flops (the stacked logo one was a little out there, but I wouldn’t call it a flop). Think about that. That’s a pretty big number of tees. And a low flop count is hard when you get up that high. But these guys did it. Thanks to crucial_times, you have the opportunity to pick up some of the classics.
98 tour. Such a sick one. Great short sleeve. The longsleeve is probably one of the most unfuckwithable longsleeves EVER. Serious.

The West Coast Weekend tour tee. Not many made. Only sold over a weekend in Cali. Great tee.

Y2X tour. Very hot. I bought mine from Stanley out of a trash bag. I forget the exact show, but it definitely wasn’t an In My Eyes gig. Maybe JSH can chime in and refresh my memory.

This is one that never pops up. It’s a simple one. But chill. I might have to snag this one. I got one previously but the seller neglected to mention the armor like antiperspirant armpits. Not cool. Not cool at all.

And if you can’t get down with used shirts, hit up Shop Shogun for some brand new IME merch. Get on it.

Youth crew 99
The first YOT reunion gig in CT in 1999 was the only YOT reunion gig I ever saw and im kinda glad about that. It was a pretty good time. I remember how psyched everyone was when we first heard rumors about it. At that time bands just wernt doing reunions so it was kinda a big deal. I remember it was supposed to be at a skatepark in the same town but it got moved at the last minute to the other venue. I remember there was a TON of people there so they ended up played 2 gigs. First band to play that day was Right Brigade and they had a killer set too. The rest is all a happy blur. Execpt maybe when we set up a long folding table as a ramp and used it to stagedive all over people during YOT. I wasnt feeling the shirt at the time and I still dont think I am feeling it now. Easy pass for mee but if not pick it up from adultcrash2009
BIN – Youth Crew 99
Youth Of Today reunited back in 1999. To me, this was the kick off of the reunion season. Granted, that season has lasted over 10 years now. I’m sure Morgado was there. I skipped out. Stayed home. You’ve heard the story before, but kevedynamite (Kid Dynamite reference??) has one up now with a BIN of $20. Seems like a no-brainer. EXCEPT it’s a navy tshirt. Boooooooo.
(Earth Crisis) Straight Jacket Mosh!
This shirt comes to us courtesy of @guav. He noticed an awfully strange title, and we’re inclined to agree. Oh kevedynamite how did you come up with “EARTH CRISIS STRAIGHT JACKET” for this basketball jersey? You so crazy! It’s funny because he continues this description in the auction text. It’s not like it was a typo or a mistake, he keeps the party going with “EARTH CRISIS STRAIGHT EDGE XXX STRAIGHT JACKET!!!” I just don’t get it. Interesting aztec vibe from what I can only assume is a basketball jersey from 99. Anyone know what the 1231 reference is? Perhaps a basketball jersey from that New Years Eve show in Syracuse. That would make sense. I’m assuming it has nothing to do with a Taxation Code …
Thanks @guav, this one was worth a laugh.
Side note. I was hanging out with Casali last night, and he kept pronouncing Buske’s name as Boo-Ski. I don’t recall every meeting Buske in person, but I’m fairly certain it’s pronounced Bus-key. Can someone give us a pronunciation guide on this one?
Floorpunch – Lots of Sleeves Or None
Whether you like longsleeves or tanktops, xtryxagainx and xruinerx2541 have that Floorpunch crack for you. The tanktop dates WAY back to last year. Wowza, forever ago. Does it seem like 2009 and 2010 have been the summers of tanktops? I feel like that’s all I ever see anymore. I think it’ll be my new thing. And the longsleeve goes back just a little further. 1999. Not bad for an 11 year old longsleeve. One decade different, not bad. I believe most of these were sold on the Euro tour. If anyone has the red Division One longsleeve, hit me up.

Bane Tour 1999
A few days back, I posted up a Bane Tour 98 longsleeve. Today we’ll see a few items from xchokeholdx who has the goods on Bane’s fall tour of 1999. First up is a wind jacket. These were the fucking rage in the late 90s. They fell off for a few years until Shipwreck, Have Heart, Verse, … until those bands brought them back big. Was anyone else doing wind jackets in 2003 or 2004? I don’t think so. Now they seem to be a staple again. Good for people who catch a draft easy, I suppose.
Next up is the tour tshirt. US Fall Tour September 16 – October 19 1999. We all know what went down on October 19, 1999. Cool shit. This tshirt came in a few colors. Brown, green, black? And it came on a hooded sweatshirt. At least a hunter green color. This particular tshirt happens to be one of the accidental limited press. You’ll notice the front screen has two ink colors. The back is supposed to have that too. There is another screen with a modern looking automatic weapon (I’ll leave it up to our readers to figure out the actual model. Not my area of expertise) in a tan ink. This one does NOT have that screen. Apparently about 2 dozen of these shirts made it out the door before someone noticed and started adding the 2nd screen. The mistake couldn’t be fixed because the 2nd screen goes UNDER the screen shown below.
Finally, we have a 7XL “tree” shirt from blockoutthesunclothing. This isn’t actually from the 99 tour. Or the 98 tour, or the 2008 tour. It’s obviously a shitty ass bootleg. It doesn’t even look remotely like the original tshirt. Fuck bootlegs. “you’ll find all the official band merch you could ever want at great prices and amazing offers!” Yeah, right. What a piece of shit.
