Murphys Law longsleeve

I was sitting and looking at this Murphys Law shirt that lml-fluffernutter-lml is selling and its pretty tame. The seller says he got it in 96 at a show in New Jersey and DKM opened for them… oh how the tables turn. I don’t know if there is a band that has had more people play in it than Murphys Law.
If you have ever wanted to own a “make 7 up yours” shirt?! Well you’re in luck, lml-fluffernutter-lml is selling one of those too! ;)

Wow. Madball and Blue Grape Merch.

You know I love Madball, but this Blue Grape merch has me perplexed. Granted, we’ve seen this design before. No beef with the design. Big fan of the “Hardcore Lives” anthem. Here’s my beef. And it’s two fold. The Madball logo on the front. Is that some wacky font, or is the placement messing me up? And of course, what the fuck gives with a black tee with white ringers? That’s just mind boggling. Completely perplexing.

Ps Where does janvanderdam get all these gems? Seriously, best merch collection.

Demonstrating My Style: 1996 And 2010.

There have been a lot of awesome Madball tees popping up lately, and the trend continues this week with this pair of Demonstrating My Style tees. I’d describe this as a “Twofer Tuesday”, but that’s just way too lame to use on a Madball post. This first one from randomhero123 is from the recent run they did of Set It Off and Demonstrating My Style designs they started selling on All In Merch last year or thereabouts (and it’s still available) but it’s still a good one, especially for cheap…

…but the real demonstrator of style here is this simple yet classic graf logo tee from 1996. Dig that back print. You won’t.

You Say You Know What’s Best For Me?

Who do those tiny feet belong to? Are they baby prints? Is there a deeper message here? Dunno. Snapcase was always on some other level. And it was the mid 90s, right? This particular hood dates back to 1996. xtommydreamerx picked it up at Club Babyhead in Providence RI when they played with Diesel Boy and Refused. Interesting gig. I bet there were many striped shirts tucked in at this event. Good old 90s.

Pro-Pain – Contents Under Pressure

1996 was a weird year. Any year where tour dates make a great sleeve print is obviously an odd year. Check this hooded sweatshirt from yuanwu. It’s still super cheap. Great color, but the sleeve print is just weirdo.

Anal Cunt

Rtypecarcass brings us a 1996 Anal Cunt tour shirt. Seller says “most of my old death/black/hardcore/grindcore/industrial shirts don’t fit me anymore now that I’m 2 to 3 sizes smaller.” Maybe he should just trade gear with the h2o Jersey dude since he didnt loose enough weight to rock his gear? Perfect match?
I pose this question to you, Is there a more unwearable in public band shirt than AC?
I have no idea on the market for AC shirts so it might go cheap, might go expensive? I have no clue.

LOA – I Regret

I regret that redhand712 didn’t take better pics of this Life Of Agony tshirt. He claims it was autographed by Joey Z on a 1996 tour. Can you see a signature in these photos? I can’t. Someone point it out to me. Also, doesn’t this shirt appear to be in AMAZING condition for cotton that is nearly 15 years old? If the seller doesn’t clear it up, his regret will be poorly listing this auction. Either way, you’ll probably be able to scoop this for cheap.

Pro Pain

Is it too early to talk about what you want to spend your Christmas loot on? If it’s not too early, may I suggest this Pro Pain shirt from janvanderdam? What says “Christmas Rules” more than a 1996 tour longsleeve with the tour dates written down the sleeve? Not my favorite look, but not a terrible one either. Of course, the seller has plenty of other excellent items too. Click over and get into them.

Biohazard Tees To Be Proud Of …

The last time I called out a Biohazard tee for being phoned in, Evan Seinfeld called me an internet nerd and told me suck a fat one. Not very polite or appropriate, considering the tshirt in question. Thankfully, janvanderdam has some vintage Biohazard gems. These items should fill Evan and Crew with pride.

The sleeve print on this Mata Leão longsleeve is great. Good use of the old school logo. Classic color choice with blue ink on a white tee. The auction says 1995, but we all know the album came out in 96. And if you look at the additional close up picture, you’ll see it also says 1996. Wish there were better pictures of the sleeve print.

Now we’re talking! State of the World Address European tour shirt. Grey tshirt with album cover. Good choice. Quality logo on the back with tour stops. Only thing missing here are DATES. Dates would be great … Some point in 1995 …

Quality shirts. Glad to have Biohazard gems back on the site.

At Best

When Bane played their 10th (1th) anniversary show, they came out with all sort of crazy merch. 3-4 tees, a couple of hoods, a crewneck sweatshirt, … lots of gear. One of the shirts featured the original demo which had been released 10 (11) years ago. It was an interesting color choice. The shirt was black with red and white ink. I recall at the time some dudes weren’t happy with it. Why? Because the demo was red with black ink. The obvious choice would have been to make red shirts and use black ink. Fast forward a few weeks and bam …

Scoop this one from jrichard84 as I get the feeling it’ll go cheap. Continue reading »
