There Is No God

Ringworm. Seriously, what more needs to be said? That first LP was mind blowing. You knew you were in for hell from the jump off. The rest of the album was equally hard. Not very mom or Christian friendly though. Same goes for the tee from burningfight. He says it’s from 1995. Is it hunter green? No idea.

Fast forward 10 years, and they were still banging them out. As you can see from this longsleeve from markt4livet. Justice Replaced By Revenge. Evil, yo, evil.

Wintercore Meltdown 1995.

I’m sure at the time, the Madball/Dog Eat Dog/Downset line up for the Wintercore Meltdown tour was considered a total banger. Now, probably not so much. But I have a hard time believing that the tee from the tour, as seen here in this auction from dissent12047, was ever a big hit, even with the Steve Huie Madball logo on it…

Now, I’m usually a proponent of the tour mash up tee, but this is just blech. No effort put in whatsoever. I’m not saying it needed to have a big dragon or something like on the Clash of the Titans tour tees I’ve posted up on various Metal Mondays, but this seriously is some lazy business.

One More Dreamy, Brown Shirt

I know Chip said there would be No More Dreams Of Brown Shirts, but this one is worth discussing. oathrecs brought out this 1995 tour tshirt from Mouthpiece. I know you are feeling this design. I’m into it. A few points. It’s not navy. I feel every time this comes around, it’s navy. Plus, it’s definitely concert brown. You know I’m feeling that.

Make sure you check out the other auctions from this seller. Dudes got some DOPE grease items up.

SOIA, Mid 90s Stylee.

One thing about early/mid-90s NYHC that I love (and there’s a lot of things about NYHC I love, despite being a Boston coreman through and through), is the abundance of graffiti style artwork that started hitting flyers and shirts. Nowhere is this more apparent than on this Sick of it All tee being sold by seeksds:

2 sides, 2 different style graf logos, and one of those weird alien looking graf cartoon characters that always made it in. Love it. Wouldn’t wear it, but I love it.

Quicksand 1995.

I’ve always been a big Quicksand fan, but I’ve never found a Quicksand shirt I like. I think it’s because so many of their tees have Melinda Beck artwork on them, and as a high schooler in the mid-90′s, most of the kids I knew who wore Beck designed Quicksand shirts were dopey stoners in Doc Martens and baggy jeans with wallet chains that went to their ankles and who got real excited when Korn “changed the hard rock game” (one of them said this to me once, I never forgot the douche chill). No judgements; I wore a couple too long wallet chains myself, but that’s what I associate those tees with, so I can’t bring myself to wear anything with Beck’s artwork on it. Like this 1995 tee from zombie_breeder:

Calling All Yuppicide Merch Fans …

Jesse Jones from Yuppicide contacted us the other day. He stumbled across our blog and was into it. He wanted to make sure we let every know that you can still pick up some of their tees here. And they are doing a few reprints of older tees. Not too shabby.

Of course, if you are more interested in a 1995 Dead Man Walking hooded sweatshirt, look no further than this auction from janvanderdam. Dude has heat, no doubt. Check it.

Biohazard Tees To Be Proud Of …

The last time I called out a Biohazard tee for being phoned in, Evan Seinfeld called me an internet nerd and told me suck a fat one. Not very polite or appropriate, considering the tshirt in question. Thankfully, janvanderdam has some vintage Biohazard gems. These items should fill Evan and Crew with pride.

The sleeve print on this Mata Leão longsleeve is great. Good use of the old school logo. Classic color choice with blue ink on a white tee. The auction says 1995, but we all know the album came out in 96. And if you look at the additional close up picture, you’ll see it also says 1996. Wish there were better pictures of the sleeve print.

Now we’re talking! State of the World Address European tour shirt. Grey tshirt with album cover. Good choice. Quality logo on the back with tour stops. Only thing missing here are DATES. Dates would be great … Some point in 1995 …

Quality shirts. Glad to have Biohazard gems back on the site.

Murphys Law tour shirt

One of the best Murphys Law shirts of all time. What a great graphic. Canoe made out of a joint-check. Water made out of weed – check. Tour dates on the back – check. I have 2 different versions of this shirt. One like this shirt but printed on a black shirt. Also the back is a bit different because it has the same print of the dates on the back but it also says “US / Japan Tour” above it. I also have another version of this shirt printed on a white shirt but the front is in full color! I bought it in 1997 at the Tune Inn in New Haven CT. I remember that show vividly because before the show we were at a girls graduation party and we stole her 18×24″ sheet cake with the sole purpose of having a cake fight at the show. It worked out perfectly too. Jimmy saw a friends girlfriend holding the cake and he took it out of herr hands. He was holding it on the edge of the stage and Jesse Standhard hit the bottom of the cake tray and it flew into the middle of the dancefloor where I and Ed Heley immediatly began throwing fistfulls everywhere. Soon everyone was throwing cake and it make a ho-hum show into an amazing time. I still have pics from the gig and you can see blue frosting all over everyones clothes.
danpush301 bought this at a gig but I bet there wasnt a cake fight

Dynamo Open Air 1995

If bewok138 wasn’t from Indonesia, I would assume he was one of you guys. After posting up a few other shirts last week, there was quite a bit of talk about Dynamo. For those who don’t know, this was some giant open air festival in Netherland. It mostly was a super bad ass metal fest that grew like crazy. The gig this shirt is from was in 95. The line up for the 3 day fest is sickening.

35007, Absconded, Biohazard, Blitz Babies, Brotherhood Foundation, Crash Worship, Dog Eat Dog, Downset, Dub War, Earth Crisis, Eleven Pictures, Fear Factory, Grip Inc., Hate Squad, Horace Pinker, Life of Agony, Machine Head, Madball, Mary Beats Jane, Mental Hippie Blood, Motorpsycho, My Dying Bride, Nailbomb, Nevermore, No Fun at All, NRA, Orange 9mm, Overdose, Paradise Lost, Rape, Rich Kids on LSD, Schweisser, Shihad, Skyclad, Snapcase, Strawman, Sun, Tiamat, Trouble, Type O Negative, Undeclinable Ambuscade, Warrior Soul, Waving Corn

Even if it was just Biohazard, Dog Eat Dog, Downset, EARTH CRISIS, Life Of Agony, MADBALL, Orange 9mm and Snapcase, I’d be happy. But throw in the rest of that craziness, and you’ve got one intense gig. I’d suggest snagging this BIN as you aren’t likely to see this one again. Enjoy.
