I don’t think I’ve ever seen an Eyeball shirt before but I’m digging this one that porter-hall is selling. Simple design but it works. I kinda wish they would have put the Crucial Response logo on the sleeve instead of the back but that’s just me. Eyeball was part of that wave of youth crew revival bands that came from Europe along with Mainstrike and Sportswear to name a few. Their track on the Rebirth of Hardcore 1999 comp was good…I have their full length somewhere, I should probably dig it out.

I get what the 88 stands for in this case, but I always wondered if this shirt raised a few eyebrows in Germany.
Never did get into this band, but at least they got a verb named after them; “To Eyeball” meant (at least within a small part of the Dutch scene) showing up late at a show so the promoter had no choice but to let you headline said show.
Love Eyeball. “Talking Straight” is my favorite record of theirs. I Think CRR still has 1 shirt for sale.
Remember a cool fanzine in Norway that dissed the 88 thing quite hard!
