A friend of TTD (#FOTTD), miketwoms has up this great Mental tee. I recall at the time, kids were a little taken back by the artwork. Boobs on shirts hadn’t become the accepted norm yet. Now you can throw out F-Bombs and Goat Vaginas all you want. But way back in 2003, times were different. Girls were recently de-bonneted and had just got over big pants. Cargo shorts were still the norm with a crucial tee. This one was outside the norm.

But Greg Mental kicked it up. He pushed out this tshirt in white/purple and white/orange. I had the white/orange. Sold it a year or two ago because I couldn’t get past that giant nipple on my tee. Just not my style. Props to Greg for thinking outside the box with this Pam Grier pic. And if you don’t know who Pam Grier is, I suggest you step your game up. Peep Coffy or the classic Foxy Brown.

a trend i’m picking up on with this blog is that you guys are afraid to wear a lot of shirts. it’s mentioned a lot. norms are going to stare at us because of tattoos anyway so a nipple on a mental shirt or swazi on a DK shirt doesn’t really matter to me.

“Afraid?” Maybe some people wanna look presentable. Around close friends I’d definitely wear something like this, but I wouldn’t wanna wear this the where I’d offend people. You never know. This shirt rules though, I definitely wanna see the orange color way!
